My intentions of my posted pic a few pages back was to point out that different strains need different things. I currently have 2 strains going and each one could take a different dose of MegaCrop before the tips started to burn. I am guessing but I believe a 2 gr/gal difference in MC dosage between the strains. Some strains have Darker leaves which could be genetic and not specific to plant health. As it sits in my system I am at 5.5 gr/gal of MC and 1 gr/gal of SC for the non blooming mix. Both strains are looking happy at that setting, though I know one could take more. To me that little more squeezing is not worth the hassle of mixing up 2 separate doses. Weigh it out and write it down is the best thing that worked for me to lock down what's working.

I am loving the shit out of megacrop 2.0 im at last day of week 5 from flip ive been slowly ramping up and pushing them now at 6.5 grams per gallon feeding twice a day in straight coco well maybe a handful of some perlite i had laying around. At lights on i give them all one brimming 16 ounce cup of nutrients each then another 3 hours before lights out.
Still adding half a teaspoon or so of epsom every other day cause the original version gave me some mag issues later in flower and im paranoid
Only have one green gelato who is showing some tiny bit of nute burn on a couple leaf tips the everything else is loving it

Ive personally nevver worried about purple stems. Unless my leaves look cooked too. Prob nothing to worry about

Grams are alot more accurate, sometimes i go a step further and monitor ec or ppm as i feed aswell.
I bet you could scoop 4 teaspoons and theyd all weigh something slightly different.
You can also break down how much feed youll need for an entire grow as well. And use that to see how long nutes will last.

Weigh it also. Minimum 4 gallons.
I pay attention to my final EC.
Plants like a consistent EC.
And of course correct PH, with no big swings.

When EC is constantly fluctuating, the plants are constantly working to adjust. To receive water through osmosis, plants need to adjust the concentration of sugars within their roots. When the EC of the nutrient solution is lower than they are prepared for, they take in too much water and have to lower the concentration of sugars in their roots. Conversely, when the EC of the nutrient solution is higher than they are prepared for, they cannot take in sufficient water and have to direct their energy into producing sugars to raise the concentration in their roots. When the EC goes up suddenly, plants can suffer burn even at relatively low ECs because the roots are prepared for even lower.

Speaking from experience, it can really F things up. Ammoniacal nitrogen.
