I have a trailer full of these chips from Festida Foods in Grand Rapids, MI

Banditos tortilla chips made with hemp seeds. I'll be delivering to Better Made snacks in Bay City, MI.

The guys at Festida gave me that bag to snack on, they're not bad chips. They always give the truck drivers random bags of chips to snack on.

Festida Foods makes those On The Border brand tortilla chips, salsa and cheese dip.

Remember when 48's came out?
I was a city driver in Atlanta for an LTL carrier. I enjoyed the chips but hated the narrow streets. (and thusly the 48's)
They made the best fried pork skins...

Well had a change of plans, no Bay City today, had another delivery to do instead this morning.

Here's a pic of my riding partner

Comes to work everyday with her dad, gets McDonald's cheeseburger for lunch once in a while if I'm close enough to walk over to one

My microwave and 28qt Igloo 12v iceless cooler

Storage cabinet above my microwave and cooler. That is my George Foreman copper infused grill that I can plug into my power inverter (3000w). I will post pics sometime of some badass Panini sandwiches and chicken/cheese quesadilla I make with that little grill

Here's another pic of my cab, notice my dash is clean of clutter. I can't stand having shit on my dash, some truckers have maps, Kleenex, paper towels, books and all kinds of shit on the dashboard of their truck. I don't.

Oh yeah, that is a vape pen on my console it has some CBD ejuice in it, tastes like shit though lol. Sometimes my neck and shoulders get sore from sitting and driving all day and the CBD helps a little

20 years ago I went to Woodstock II with a Boulder, CO company that made hemp tortilla chips and hemp chocolate chip cookies.

Those chips were the best I'd ever laid lips on!

Probably one of those goddamn Russian or Bosnian drivers

At least it looked like he had his hazard lights on though lol

Hey I made a rookie mistake today, I was in a hurry trying to get to my next appointment before one of the hilo drivers leave (she's a hottie and I been flirting with her), I pulled off the dock and forgot to remove the wheel chock first, I dragged it 1/4 way across the shippers parking lot before I realized it lol, I was like what the fuck is wrong with my trailer tire

What the fuck is up with that anyway?

It seems like the truckers are now:
1. Ukrainian
2. Belorussian
3. Bosnians
4. Serbs
5. Sihks

You notice too? I'll elaborate my thoughts on that when I have more time. Fuckers cannot drive worth a crap though, they barely speak English, it makes me wonder how they even got a CDL?

Real quick, this Russian/Bosnian/Serbian (?) driver last week asked me to help him because he was having a hard time backing in next to me on the dock. I barely understood him so I asked him if he wanted me to spot him, he said no, will you back my truck up for me? WTF, I told him no and got in my truck and left quickly as I was just finished loaded anyways. He can hit someone else's truck for all I care lol

Here are some of my thoughts about it

I hate to say it but, I believe some Americans are straight up lazy and think they're only going to work some high paying job. Driving a truck is definitely not for everyone, it is stressful and dangerous, you work long days/hours and unless you get into the right company, trucking doesn't pay very well to start out.

There's a shortage of drivers (well, at least a shortage of good drivers) and most companies now have relaxed the hiring requirements. I believe you used to have at least 2 years experience to get hired into a good, well paying company. Now you look at most trucking jobs and they take drivers with 0-6 months experience.

**Ok, I got extremely lucky with my job and got hired in fresh out of CDL school. The only reason I got into my company is because the owner is best friends with my ex girlfriends dad. My ex's dad helped me get in, otherwise my company only hires family. At the time of my hiring, my company needed another driver, they wanted a new driver with no experience and no bad driving habits so they could "shape and mold" me how they wanted.**

There's CDL schools popping up everywhere offering classes anywhere from 40 hours of training to 240 or more hours of training.
*I did a 160 hours of training, 4 weeks at 40 hours a week*
That's why we're seeing so many new foreign drivers, these CDL schools are basically mills pumping out new drivers every day

They are trying to clamp down on licensing here due to the horrific crashes in the last few years. The examiners were not even taking the drivers on the highway for exams. One week schools does not make a truck driver.
