How long can my plants stay in the vegetative phase?

I'm growing my plants outdoors and according to the sun calculator, I'm receiving almost 14 hours of light currently. Even in August they will be receiving about 13 hours.

I have 4 plants, they are about 6 weeks old, they have no signs of sex at all. The problem is that I'm leaving in 3 days and coming back on one and a half month. So my concern was to separate the males from the females to avoid pollination.

If by the time I come back they still receive 13 hours of light per day they wont flower?

The only suspicious male is one of them that is about 15% taller and has a noticeable thicker stem.

Hmmm. I would think they would be just starting to flower in August... that’s tricky. Are they all together or can you spread them out a bit ?

13 hours of light, or put another way, 11 hours of darkness is going to lead to flowering in most strains. At six weeks they should be sexually mature.

It will even out in winter.

Edit: and most seeds works like autos where I'm at. You have to hit it just right with the right strain to get any outdoor veg.

Ha. I do do a little winter/spring growing here in NW Florida. My shortest day is a hair over 10 hours. Most years I made a crop. I've lost a few though. We had a week in the 20F's with two nights down to 16F in my 17-18 winter/spring grow. Didn't really try this past winter due to the hurricane.

Yes they are regular seeds. Yes, I'm in Mexico. These are regular seeds that come from the locally grown weed. They're actually great if you grow them your own and avoid pollination. 100% sativas. If they just start flowering in August then I shouldn't worry about. But if they start flowering while I'm away then I don't know how long it would take for pollination. Yes, I can place them a few meters apart but that's the only thing I can do. I don't know if I should cut the one with the thicker stem just as precaution.
