Right on! I was thinking about shelves but dont think I'll put any in. Probably mount all my LED drivers on the walls.Following..... this is almost identical to my setup.... door intake(except I’m currently re-doing the zipper) and all..... absolutely wild..... I put shelves at top and some extra 1x4s on the wall in different locations to support mounting various items.....
Thanks man, I found the 320 to be best at around 18", I bought a light meter to help find the sweet spot.Very clean I have that same light, and roughly same size closet. I currently just have my mother's in the closet in a 2x4 with t5s. Since I don't use the light ATM I've been thinking of doing a build very similar to this and use it as a veg closet. I kinda want to add a shelf in the middle of mine tho so can do two levels of veg. How far do you keep the 320 away from plants. I didn't have the best luck last time I used the light.
Which light meter? Thanks man, I found the 320 to be best at around 18", I bought a light meter to help find the sweet spot.
Lots out there that would work fine but I like the LX-1010B.Which light meter?

My plants seem happiest around 50,000-60,000 lux. (I think?) Reads 500-600 on my meter. I'm not sure what is perfect but I know what my plants have liked in the past. IMO Lux meter is all you need as it will give you the reference point to dial in height. What LUX have you found to be the sweet spot? I’m really trying to dial in my boards but I’m too cheap to buy a PAR meter.
Yes I will probably do that eventually but not totally concerned as night cycle will be at actual night while I am sleeping so there will be no light to leak in.That passive intake is going to interrupt your night cycle. You need to build a light box on either side to ensure you're not going to have a spot that every plant you put there herms.
Well. Your right, I should have and will make somthing to block light for a few hours while flowering. But currently my passive intake is from an adjacent room that is not used much and can be dark all day if needed. So you sleep on a schedule that coincides with your plants for 12 hours in a room that stays pitch black dark for the entire 12 hours?
That's some serious synergy! haha.So you sleep on a schedule that coincides with your plants for 12 hours in a room that stays pitch black dark for the entire 12 hours?
