Oh hell yea. Hundreds died. If memory serves, quite a few of the bombers didn't make it either. The damage they did though was catastrophic. All in all it was a great mission.
I can't imagine the kind of balls it takes to fly a Lancaster wide open at treetop level and lower.

You literally can not impeach a president without both houses of congress agreeing to it. All the House of Representatives can do is vote to impeach. They'll of course win that vote. The instant that vote is won, the Senate will hold a trial.
Guess how that's going to work out with Mitch McConnell running it?
Impeachment has absolutely ZERO chance of going anywhere. It would be, quite literally, a wasted effort that would result in nothing.
The House is far better served maintaining their investigations until the next election cycle. If Trump wins, then yeah. We're all screwed...unless the Dems gain control of the Senate as well. Then Trump is screwed.
If Trump loses then he is really, really screwed.
You play the odds to your advantage. Trump is begging for the Dems to impeach him because if they do the Senate can then actually find him not guilty and wipe the slate clean.
Only a complete idiot would try to impeach Trump right now. Without the Republicans on board in the Senate, not only does it have absolutely ZERO chance of success, but it could actually vindicate Trump permanently and make everything that's been worked on a complete waste of time.
