If you like what you see off the cmh you can add some led strips with it, maybe some 660nm to tune up the flower spectrum. If i was only growing for myself id do CMH + 660nm + 730nm led (for end of day treatment and shorter flower)

Is dig key a good place to order parts to build
Depends on what you want to order.
If you want a good tool for finding parts try octapart.com. it allows you to search by partnr and view distributors and price breaks.

Good thing about digi is you get free shipping on orders over 50 (ish?) $ and you can order in the EU without passing customs, only add Vat.

Do you Think I should put my cmh up with one board on each side of it... I have 8 girls ima flower soon
if ur running Blurples then yea. Its a quality light vs an inferior light. Replace them or run them together is up to u but leaving it in a box and running blurples is a bit contour productive.

Well the boards I’m talking about are not blurples; they are the boards with 3000k and 660nm

Yes that would work well, as Luke said, 315s are good for 3x3. adding a board on either side will give you a nice spectrum and much better coverage for the 4x4

Im a believer in CMH, they produce nice bud for sure. Couple them with legit leds and i think you have a winning combo.

How high would you recommend hanging the boards and the cmh from top of canopy?
