So anybody have any secrets on revitalizing mothers? I've half assed looked at that new tissue sampling way of cloning, sounds promising but anybody have the lazy grower's secret sauce to revitalizing mothers? Wonder if miracle grow would do it, lol.

Duke Diamond said to reinvigorate moms take 10 or so clones off the mom. Choose the best 5 out of those ten and plant them outdoor. Let them grow into huge bushes and close before they start to flower take 10 more clones choose best 5 to plant indoors. He said the sun heals plants. No scientific data to back that up tho. I heard him talk about it on wake and bake America.

I'm outdoors from seed drop, so never done this myself. But I have heard to only keep them about a year, then let a clone become the new mother.

take them outside, then take cuts a few weeks before flowering would start and bring them back indoors. i do this every year with all my keepers. i dont have any hard science to back this up, but i do have 2 strains in particular that i have kept for almost 10 years that show no signs of deterioration

Guys I really appreciate the responses. I will try some sun therapy and see what happens. It's free and makes some sense. I won't be able to do it to the level suggested but every little bit will help if it's true.
