got a syringe today filled with spores but the syringe had opened during shipping and leaked inside the sealed bag, i was able to pour the fluid back into the syringe but am unsure if it’s still viable. Any thoughts?

I would say it's contaminated if the seal broke.. Bummer!

No. You should not have put it back in the syringe.


Odds are what was left in there would have been fine.

I figured as much, thank guys.

The place I bought it will send me another one thankfully.

For fun I inoculated one rye bag with half the syringe, meh we’ll see how it goes.

Update: rye bag contaminated with green mold.

New syringe arrived already!

It’s my first time growing shrooms wasn’t planning on journaling it, still need to figure things out.

I spent last night getting a inoculation chamber built, will be inoculating another 2 bags tonight
