Nutrient deficiency?

Please help. Is this a nutrient deficiency?? Under water or overwater ?? No I haven’t used any kind of nutes. Just transplanted them like a week ago . When they were in gallons I used cal mag they were looking great !! But now that I transplanted I got this problem .

Looks like you put it in the ground. Do you have heavy compacted soil with perhaps lots of clay? If so you may not have good drainage unless you added some gravel, sand, mulch, or pearlite to help move water along.

Well I used cal mag like 4 days ago they look much better now . Just showed some pics to my local hydro/store guy and told me that it looked like a cal mag def .

Yes its compacted soil/clay but if you go a feet deep it’s pretty much sandy/soft soil . Also have a Ph of 7.

You need to aerate the top few inches of soil. Work in perlite or sawdust from untreated wood. Or well composted organic materials for humus. Hard pan soil is going to be a fight even with loam under it.

Okay thanks for the feedback Like how many inches?? I don’t want to damages a lot of roots .

The first few inches will be fine. If the lower roots are in loose soil they’ll root there and be fine. Also some holes by a screwdriver or something else straight through to the loose soil will not hurt your plant.

You should have dug a decent size hole and added something to amend the soil and make it less compacted when you planted in the ground. You can see the dirt cracking around the plant in the pictures. Do as @hotrodharley said and mix something in. If it was me I'd carefully dig them up and prepare the hole you plant them in properly.
