Whats up with OCG/Scott and soil lately?

I doubt these growers are having soil issues over PH/Over watering issues.
Its not like it takes much to do a flush.
and its not like the soil isnt conditioned by flower time.

plants like that lower ph anyways in early veg.

Problem is store space imo. Plus how much soil they sell in a month. Most of these hydro stores are not gonna carry 1 unique soil type.
When FF soil works for 99% of growers out there.

Dont get why he doesnt just sell his coco as compressed bricks. So more people can have access to it.

snap a root photo if you can :)
Yessir ill snap a couple for sure. There growing out the bottom of the pot. Most of my bush pigs are males.... at least i think so. Still gna wait till i know for sure. Sucks that my best looking ones are looking more like males everyday. Its hard taking slurries i can just hear the roots snapping and ripping.

Just gave the plants a haircut got rid of about 25% of lime green undergrowth. They looks so much better. Foliated some hygia, dr growth, posidenzime and em-1. Hopefully it takes some of the stress away.

Oh yea forgot to tell you guys ive had terrible light leak. Thanks god there in veg. My air conditioner is leaking daylight in about 2 hours before the plants are up!! Had to take the thing apart and spray paint all the damn styrofoam they put in it. Gna set alarm and check in the morning to see if i got it. I always used a old ac from the 90s before they insulated it with foam that leaks light. Wish i didnt give it away i woulda rather used that.

Not sure what ya mean bro? I dont use ff because they use wood and bark in the soil. Id rather use roots before FF. I like supporting scott and nftg. Good people good community and #4 is ready to rock with the nutes right out the bag. Plus i live in a small town gives me and the wife an excuse to get out of town for the day. My babies get the good good and she thinks im treating her for the day win win lol. Im going to start reading more of the “teaming with” books and amending my soil after this run anyways.

the problem is the person , not the nutrients or soil ....and environment ...where people are screwing up is that nectar for the gods is more labor then any other , like I said on youtube , you can make any soil work if you know what to do before you use it ...#4 soil ppm is 300 ppm or less with a ph around 7.0. which is ideal for the nectar nutrients , take 707 that will have a ph of 5.8-9 with a ppm of 2000 which is not idea for nectar nutrients .... remember the slurries should be 300-500 range or 250-550 range ... but the ph is more of an issue cause thats your issue to uptake the nutrients , keep your ph at 6.0 that will cause an lockout , keep your ph above 7.1-7.2 will cause an lockout ... anther issue is people only want to slurry when there is an issue and not do what I call a preventive slurry to catch before an issue starts , which require more work .... in some area #4 soil hard to get and east coast can't even get the other nectar soil so people have a limited option and a lot of issues comes from using other soils ......

Makes me wonder if my soil i bought sat around the store for a long time... every bag was around 170ppm and 6.5ph. Then i didn't give them any food for about 2 weeks and very minimal when i did.

those #s are good .. no food for 2 weeks ? that was pushing .... if a clone I start a very lite feed maybe 3 days after its transplanted and thats after I added Bigfoot , cultured sprinkle in hole then root drench big foot... if its a seedling ill start after the 1st set of leaves ...I should clarify your fresh bag of soil from nectar ph can be 6.4-7.1 with ppm 300 or less.... gotta keep in mind was this a fresh run of the bag or did you get a bag that was in middle of the line or get a back at the end of line ? doesn't matter its still good ... soil will never go bad ..... another thing that can buy you time with watering is mix EWC in ....

for sure.

that balance of pushing it is so hard to find. Still struggle with getting the right amount of water into the pots.

I was thinking going with a 2" layer of Clay pebbles. Give it a zone that is basically semi dry all the time, and has access to air. Better drainage. Next time I up pot.

Just feels really hard to push it without having some soggy spots. This is 50% coco, 50% perlite.

How much bone meal you been running in that coco/perlite?
Right now? 5-10ml depending on my pour that day lol. (gallon)
Around 6.2 for feed.

They are in Early veg. Just hit the mk ultra with a light dose of bk.
Just finished up with clone feed a few weeks ago. Was only GM,MM,Zeus from rooting till a few weeks ago.
