Dehumidifiers create heat, but mainly I was assuming you're intake is from bedroom, but if it's from a window then nevermind

Also just an FYI, get 200 pint they're the most economical. It will absorb moisture quicker so you use less electricity and generate less heat

I'm using the Inofia 30 pint in my 12 x 12 grow room to maintain a 45% RH and use the water for my Kind Soil Auto grows. f series says to get a 200 pint but you'll be shelling out a grand or more depending on model.

Really, 200 pints? How do you calculate a dehumidifier thats drawing more power than his lighting? I don't understand how it's more economical, please elaborate for me.

I went through this same thing a month or so ago. I bought a small one like you showed for in the tent, flowering started and it didn't stand a chance. I got a 30 pint unit in the room of my tent and its perfect. Do yourself a favor and take that $50 you were gonna spend on that unit and put it towards a bigger unit. You could get into something decent starting at $150.

My experience. 4x8x8. Sealed w/6k ac.

30 pint ran constantly. Weak and slow to lower rh. Not responsive enough at lights off.

50 pint. Just right.

70 pint. Created too much heat, higher amp draw. Physically larger. 50 pint was sweet spot.

Plan for drain. Emptying sucks. They shutdown when bucket is full. Not goot.
