I do the same, bonsai style, but don't keep that long. Will flower it out from time to time and just start a new mom.
I take care of real bonsai trees too.....have way too many....... its another hobby of mine that been doing for 6 or 7 years now.

One of the bonsai tree tricks I use sometimes with cannabis is a low stress defoliation. Some plants get extremely stressed from full leaf removal at the petiole so we cut the leaf in half, like when cloning, so more light can penetrate the canopy and at same time not stress the plant. There is also tricks to stimulate back buds without removing the lead growing tip.
Do you root prune and repot to the same size as you were in?
yeah....before I prune any top growth, i cut away 30-40% of the rootball then i cut away 20 - 30% OF the the top growth. If you cut branches before the roots they can bleed sap but it's mainly just good practice. Just want to balance out the smaller pruned root system with it's top growth. New growth explodes from every node!! I do the same if re-vegging a plant too.

For real im in veg so i havent really used TT yet. I just got photo p and holy shit smells like my bucket i pick up dog shit with and forgot to empty it then it filled with rain water for 2 weeks in 100* weather.
Nice strawberry plants! I do a big veggie garden in no till amended beds with teas, topdresses and foliars. Tomatos, peppers, beans, brocolli, squash, zuch, snap peas. I have strawberries as a living cover crop under my tomato plants alongside a cover crop blend.
I'm glad your doing this, was seriously about to try the Green Gro Natures pride inputs when I have the homegrown bokashi kit I have just used a little of with my nectar. So I'm gonna tag along with Bubba and put these microbes to work, at least we will have each others feedback. I think the BE1 pellets will be a nice addition too.....gonna be fun!! And don't worry kids, the NECTAR will still be flowin!!
