I was thinking the same. Might end up keeping the male to get some seeds. Definitely keeping them apart.Suggest leaving both to watch and learn. You can ditch the male well before it’s a problem.

No you pop one of the balls from a male flower on a female flower. Then you get seeds.Wait.. what!?
So pop a seed in one that is flowering!?
