Anyone tried Mammoth products for mites

I havent tried it but it's a preventative. It's not for an existing infestation. Basically it makes the plants unattractive to the mites. It's not going to poison the mites or their eggs. So if you don't have mites it may help make them steer clear of your plants.

I don't know anyone that has tried it. TBH I can't answer those questions with experience so I will have to defer. I will say that I personally wouldn't apply anything in flowering. I understand the need to save a crop but from my experience things that are safe aren't effective against large infestations and the repeated applications required to keep them knocked down somewhat will, at least to me, make the product undesirable. If I won't smoke it myself I wouldn't want anyone else to either. So if it was me, and I know from experience, if I see mites in flower I call it a wrap and start fresh, no reason to waste electricity and nutrients to grow crap. Thats just me, and thats why I don't know whats good to use in flower either lol.

A lot is going to depend on how infested you are and how complete you can apply whatever you do use. They like to hang out under the leaves and the eggs as well. A dip application where you flip the plant upside down and dunk it in a bucket of solution is probably out so you won't get 100% coverage and a non systemic product won't bother the mites that aren't directly hit. Repeated applications every other day or so will generally be required to kill off new mites before they are old enough to lay more eggs. You don't win a war against mites in flower, you might slow them down but if it's early flower just chop and call it a wrap, clean up and start fresh.

Thats my two cents. I know people that battled mites for a long time and they kept coming back because they had a perpetual and they never stopped and started totally clean with clean clones.

In veg I use Forbid 4F at 1mL per gallon rate. Do not use Avid or Floramite they stay around a long ass time. Flowers one guy had tested at 180 days after clones were treated came up at 8 and 5 PPM respectively.

Is it ok to use forbid 4F in say day 5 or 10 of flowering?

have you thought of using live predators? like lady bugs or thrips or predator mites?

you can also gas them with a few good shots of CO2 if you are using it already for your grow.

How many lady bugs do you need for say a 4x4 tent??

we have a local garden store that sells them in like a mesh bag. i forget how many are supposed to be in there but i would say at least a few hundred?

i would do it twice: once to kill the live ones than a few days later to kill the eggs that hatched in the meantime.

When you say 5 or 10 days, you mean days of 12/12 not actual bud formation right? I haven't done it that late but you can probably do that, I can't say based on test results though, just an educated guess.

Yes, I tried the Mammoth CannControl and overnight the vibe changed. Way less fungus gnats and the girls were nice and perky. It has a nice floral smell so when it mixes with the scent of the girls, it's like a flower shop. I'll keep using it once a week and let you know but so far so good.

Azamax can be used up till the last 2 weeks of flower but i wouldn't recommend it but it's all right to use in Veg , If you are in flower or even worse late flower use 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol and some Dish Soap, Mix it 80% water 20% IRA with a few drops of dish soap and it will roast them lil fuckers!

I know this is an old thread but what makes u say its a preventative? I've used it for light infestation and it kills mites and destroys eggs.

Purecrop1 dunk in flower legit saved my plants from getting a bad infestation on my table, haven't had them pop up after that; worth using it if you dunk the entire plant in a bucket with the stuff in it
