Anyone have experience with these LED lights?

They run hotter than the real deal, but they do the job. I'll stick with HLG personally because i like supporting company's that innovate and care about their customers, but like I said, if you can't afford HLG these will grow some plants.

is it safe to run the drivers on top of the heatsink like you would on the hlg 550. I have a 600h and it does fine on the heatsink

I'd imagine it would be fine. Most of the chinese knockoffs run hotter than HLGs, but most don't run dangerously hot. Just make sure you are a little extra careful with those lights in general. Knockoffs are knockoffs for a reason and there is a reason they are cheaper. Just be safe.

Agree. I suggest mounting your driver away from the heatsink, and then wire your boards to a wago glued to the heatsink and then to the driver. Connectors seems to be a common failure point
