oh , don't like the sounds of that , they were suppose to be fire , well fingers crossed .

Just so you know...Im not offended or trying to be offensive....but

A special batch of fresh seeds?
Fresh? Probably, yes.
Special? How so?
Fresh can complicates things from my experience.
How would the seeds i get be different (or special) than the rest of the batch?
How could he possibly pick the winners from a batch of seeds and put them all in one pack?
And, he seems to be able to do this over and over again with me. It's amazing!
It is probably more likely just luck of the draw as I don't always get the best phenos myself. And, I didnt think his GG was as good as id hoped myself.
Also, if there is one grow related thing I have down pat...it's germinating seeds. Everything else is still a crap shoot but i have a high success rate with seeds.
Go figure.

Hmmm.
Well, i have no information about Doc selling "old stock" but he has plenty of new stuff that couldn't possibly be "old stock". GG4 is one of them as it is/was brand new just a short while ago. I think we can safely assume that after years in the biz, Doc knows how to store seeds for the long haul so this idea seems to be based on faulty or bad evidence.

Just a few of the strains that are pretty new to Doc's lineup. How old could they be? I have older seeds stored that I have no trouble getting to germ. It must be some other problem.

pollen may be some what steral.i sean that befor even in reg,beans but doc.dos have some kind of problem with the 2 strains I got from him.

I just germinated 2 yr. old seeds no problem . Store in refrigerator crisper :)

the IAF i know germed fine for me..i like it outdoors

the g13 i haven't grown for years..i dunno

i would get the the newer varieties last few years stuff..i think it blows g13 away ..

the sterile thing does not make sense at all bro..

but as far as germination nothing is perfect since every single seed is different and anyhthing can happen

and if you only have 3 seeds like that g13 its not like having 11 to choose from

g13 grew BIG for me indoors and out.. it was not potent as the newer gear..the new stuff is shit hot..

and obviously ..new

and i think he always has to have fresh enough seed for that " auto"

and i hear WAY more horror stories of hermi's and stuff from these new cool breeders..

i agree there are lots of good seeds by other seed makers now
i see lots complaints about these guys though
get them where you want..i have grown alot of docs stuff..a lot.
from way back too..his gg4 and these new offerings are terrific..
i was always satisfied
problems can happen germing seeds too.i have done that myself
drgruber does greast grows and is an awesome person

but most people you cannot even talk to on the phone and get grow advice
your grows have been better and better through the years
he is very fortunate to have somoene like you that people trust

i drop in here every once in awhile to see how you are doing Dr.gruber
i am always impressed..thanks for the peep
