Problem making clones. In 2 days they are damping off

Hello fellas. Two days ago I put in a tupperware some cuts, but in two days they are damping off. I dont know what's happened.

-They are in coco, inside a paper pots. The coco is not very wet, because i dry it with my hands. Like jiffys.
-The temperature its around 28ºC. Its impossible for me down more degrees because its summer.
-I water spray svery day (only 2 days...)

I dont know what happened

I think the problem its in the coco coir because I have tried once more time with coco coir and with peat and I have seen that the coco coir have these web fungus, but the clones in peat are actually in good condition.

I have removed the cuts inside in coco coir, and I have put them into a tupperware with water. We will see !

Coco ph is too high and it locks up calcium and mag, plus it has high salt content. Peat ph is lower and could be 6.0 or so, which helps block the fungus. I also found in coco a little hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar help. You should also super rinse and soak coco in cal/mag before using.

I left the coco in my mix, but slowly switching back to peat. I also had huge problem with seedlings damping off with coco :(

Hmm, my experience has been that coco works great for cloning. I clone and grow in coco exclusively and never have any issues. Most coco these days has been rinsed multiple times to remove any excess salt and it's also taken care of better than it used to be in the past where they would just pile it up on the beach where it would accumulate salt. Since it's become a valuable growing medium it's being processed with more care.

It looks like the OP kept it too wet. When I clone in coco I use damp coco and no dome. The clones might need to be misted a couple times the first couple of days but other than that I just cut, dip in rooting powder, and put them out of direct light. The issues many people have with coco and seedlings is keeping the coco too wet. It doesn't need to be watered daily with seedlings and can be allowed to dry out some.

Throw away and dont use compost from the infected plant and soil . Spider mites . Ive had good success with green clean product for mites . Works great as a preventative . spray leaves top and bottom stem , and either spray into soil or cubes for clones and when plants are full grown spray pots as well if you're growing in soil base 1/4 oz of green clean per 32 oz spray bottle . they have a 6 day incubation period that means spraying once a week wont kill all . Every 3 days works good for me .

Wait one guy mentions the metric fuck ton of webs all over these shit looking plants and only one dudes goes spider mites ? The OP goes nah .... thats mold ? in 2 days ? No .. those plants a fucking infected with spider mites or some shit ... thats why they look like shit.

How ? is this even a discussion ? What am I missing ?

Do you wear glasses?That is not spider mites.If that amount of webbing was from mites you'd see the little fucks every where.......do you see 1 mite??

The OP stated he put the clones in tupperware. I'm going to assume they put the lid on. 28C/82F degrees in a container without any vents, coco too wet, sopping wet clones, organic material, perfect environment for fungus, mold, etc... to start growing in a short period of time. You can see the leaves are actually rotting. Regardless, those things need to be burned.
