It was 12C here yesterday in Alberta
Followed a motor home towing a car yesterday from Fairbanks headed south. From Alberta. That sorry twerp was doing 40-45 mph. I spent 10 miles following him wondering if he had driven from Edmonton to Alaska going that fast. In Montana you only see Alberta plates as they speed by you.

95F is just another summer day in NW Florida. But heat is the biggest weather related killer. Folks who are not used to it are not used to it.
true...very true...that's what makes it dangerous for people. Down here we have programs .....like box fan programs for people who don't have a/c, there is another with HVAC companies if they donate they're time to fix elderly people's a/c systems too...

just becareful with the heat.....look out for heat exhaustion and or heat strokes.....know they symtoms and the signs....always keep hydrated, keep a good hat on, and try to keep cool as possible..

I deal with it most days. Going out early and late will help some. I've got sun hats, but don't use them unless I'm getting dirt down my neck. I seem cooler without it. Once I start losing my balance or stumbling, I know it's time to do something else.

Lol that seems like a long way to take it before cooling down. Losing balance and stumbling are pretty far into heat stroke territory. Maybe get cooler before that point. That's just my opinion though lol.

surprised you don't have a water barrel around you can drink from and or dunk you head into to cool u off. And i always have a towel with me, soak it in water for a few, and then wrap it on my head and or around my neck. I also keep a box fan on my porch too, work a little in the sun and take a break in front of the a fan.....i've gotten heat exhaustion to many time in my life not to...

As a hiker I have more damn Smart water bottles than many small grocery stores. I keep a couple of bottles in all my vehicles, and I have a wrought iron table and chairs under my garden oak. I have a hose set up there for head soaking. I take lots of breaks. But I try not to go inside until lunch, or I will be done for the day. Hard to leave the AC.

The hottest temperature I've been in was at Lake Havasu and it was 118F. I was there for a week and It was brutal. To make matters worse I was there for work and busy the entire time so I couldn't even go wakeboarding. I did drive across the London Bridge. And I mean the original London Bridge. It was dismantled and shipped to the United States and reassembled at Lake Havasu

I over heat so quickly. My head gets so hot .. one trick I learned living in Tucson Arizona dunk your t shirt in water and soak it and put it back on and get your hat to get your head wet to cool off. Excessive heat warning here in NJ. It looks like a flaming Cheeto and I got stuck here at the hottest beach on the shore. They are protesting the horses being run in the heat. Horse racing is cruel.

Extremely hot weather has started to hit most of the United States, with temperatures set to peak over the weekend, meteorologists say.

The heatwave could affect about 200 million people in major cities like New York, Washington and Boston in the East Coast, and the Midwest region too.

In some places, temperatures could be close to or exceed 100F (38C). Parts of Canada are also being hit.

Experts link more frequent heatwaves in recent years to climate change.
Earlier this month, the US state of Alaska, part of which lies inside the Arctic Circle, registered record high temperatures.

Which areas are hit by the latest heatwave?
The heatwave is hitting an area stretching from the Central Plains of Colorado and Kansas, to the Great Lakes in the north-east.

Consider you plants, some shade and extra water is Good
That’s not unusual to me, being a desert rat. Every summer from June thru September, daytime temps do not drop below 103 and for about a month, it never drops below 100 degrees. Been dealing with it for over 22-years.
