Broke main top..heavy handed LST.. suggestions please

I was doing a little LST 2 days ago on my White Widow (30 days old from seed now). Apparently I was a litt heavy handed when tied her down and didn’t notice until today that the top has broken. There is some of the stock still attached and the top is still happy looking and bending up towards the light. Do I try to save it by: Just leaving it alone? Try to repair it (how best)? Top it the rest of the way maybe just above the break and use as a clone?

Yes when I bent the stock over and secured her I checked the bend to make sure it still had some give and she seemed ok. Obviously I put more stress than intended and some time later ...snap...grrrrrrr.

He would need to shave off the skin to make flesh contact cause after two days, it’s already repairing it’s self. He said he didn’t notice he broke it until two days later.

As Obepawn said, if it still looks healthy, it should be fine. I break them all the time. If it isn't wilted after 2 days, it's not harmed.

It could. It’s usually done much later but you never know

It appears that that is happening which was my intention in LSTing in the first place. I was trying to get some light to the new branches at each node by exposing them ..that plant is thick/dense like a friggin cabbage

I've broken plants staking them down. If the break is bad, tape works wonders. If not, just prop it up and nature will do the rest. I'm in the bush, so I just cut an oak limb with a fork in it to keep the broken limb off the ground. Most of the time, by the next week it is already growing up again.
