Dangerous heatwave starts hitting US and Canada

stupid hot here in the philly area today, yesterday and i think tomorrow is supposed to be the last of it.. i think with the heat index, it was something like 114 here today.. 80% humidity and like 97 actual degree's f.. so can't wait for monday

I noticed the plants I have outside are drying out very quickly, is it ok to water every other time with just water no nutes?

Currently 69F and sunny. Nice breeze as well. It's supposed to get to 88F. I can deal with that during summer for awhile. If it gets too hot it's an hour and a half drive to the coast where it will typically be 15 degrees cooler. Unfortunately with the influx of people moving into this area it's basically impossible to find a hotel room or camping spot this time of year. You have to reserve months in advance. Day trips can end up in bumper to bumper traffic for 70 miles going home during the weekends. That's why we like to go in the winter during a warm spell when there are much less people. I like watching a good storm roll in from the Pacific Ocean.
