sleeping in the same room as tent health question

Everybody's focused on the noise and stuff, but if you're terpene sensitive you will have horrible allergies throughout flower. Given that no one has mentioned it yet means it's probably pretty uncommon.

i love the smell of carbon filter. when its cool enough i pull my exhaust out of the window and let it vent into my bedroom just for that smell.

hi people

i want to grow in my bed room in a small tent with carbon filter lights and fans. carbon filter will be blowing in to the room out of the text

is it un healthy to do this. is the carbon bad for you to breath in every day for long amounts of time also what about the evaporating nutrients and water could that be bad for your health

i will make a big room soon to grow in but after thinking about cose and my
I just started my first grow so take this with a grain of salt but I have my 20x20x48 tent in my room with a 4" exhaust fan, car on filter, 6" oscillating fan and I cannot hear it over the air conditioner running or over the tv or over my aquarium. I am sure it depends on your setup but my grow is probably the quitest part of my house.

I need noise as well to sleep so maybe that's why it does not bother me at all. I just have a 20G Long with a breeding colony of Similis Shell Dwellers but since it is a long I have 2 HOB Filters and a sponge filter to keep it free of dead spots so they make a decent amount of noise. I also have the tent in a location that is blocked pretty well from 3 sides and has clothes and stuff in front of the fourth side so maybe that is muffling it too. All I know is I really can't hear it and if I could it would probably just help me sleep. Maybe tonight I will turn everything off just to see how loud it is with nothing else on.

ahhh HOB that explains it. yea HOB filters are fairly noisy i run canisters since im on the cheaper end of Salt water tanks plus i can't really keep corals anyways since they are illegal in my state so i don't really need a sump. kind of iffy on if i want to continue this hobby byt down grading to Fresh water again or just say fuck it and be over with it. kind of expensive to run salt water tanks even in my state since the fish are not local they are all imported.

i run a 55gal wanting to upgrade to 100 at least but no truck to haul the tank and stand and the tank/stands are really expensive run you about $1k+ for both new.

Where I live tends to be pretty hot in the summer. Vented the tent into the same room which gets pretty hot. I’m gonna change that and vent it into the attic. Should solve my problem.
Do not vent into the attic unless you like mold in the summer and ice in the winter that melts in the spring. Been there, done that.

I had a canister but it started leaking so I just threw it away. I have started selling my colony off, I just don't have time to mess with them anymore and would rather use that space for more fruitful endeavors ;)! Whew, that is a decent chunk of change which is why I just went fresh water, cheap and easy, well easier. If you have a local club you can generally find setups for pretty cheap but it is still time consuming and when things become more of a pain then they are rewarding it is probably best to just step away. Good Luck!

Same, carbon filter inside the tent, scrubber outside and fresh air being pulled through the room by an exhaust fan. Doesn't help me as much as I'd like it to, but being allergic to aromatics is probably not that common or severe for most people. Just wanted to mention it because it is possible.

i have this strain that over powers my carbon filters when in full flower. i have no choice but to pull exhaust out of the window and let it vent into my bedroom then i have to run a second filtering in the room to remove excess smell

Carbon is used in alot more air purification than you may think.. i say completely fine..

The warmer your ambient temp is the more you will smell carbon, also the more negative pressure you have the more you will smell the carbon.. temps plus perfect amount of airflow and I have 0 smell of carbon and no traces of weed. Just the fresh scent of cheap walmart green apple air fresheners lol

I keep my rooms ambient temp at 73, walk in closet sits at 75 and inside both tents 78 with lights on and 68 with lights off. Just something to think about
