Generally LED does not provide IR that warms the leafs that HID lighting does. It's the leafs temps that should be of concern and not so much the ambient air temps the leaf temps can vary from about 2F to 10F cooler than the air temps dependant on the amount of IR provided by the lights, forced evaporative cooling and respiration. This can affect nutrient uptake and other plant processesSome one else smarter than me might comment on led running cooler so less water evaporates so (higher I think) concentration of nutes in the soil
well one light had ir and one this one dont so could be itGenerally LED does not provide IR that warms the leafs that HID lighting does. ph can be a reason but im good maintaining my ph . running hydro i find its super easy to keep ph in checkMy Banana Kush did this last year. I suspect it was related to high pH, but that's just a guess. I'll see how this new Banana Kush does now that I'm being careful with pH.
