Thanks for the feedback next time I wont remove fan leafs outdoors I'll just top it's just an experiment looking to see the results
I'd like to try super crop in the futureSupercrop. Do it. It will help make bigger buds. And you still have time.
No time like the present.. lol. For sure try it. It's pretty magical what roughing your plants up a little can accomplish.I'd like to try super crop in the future

Not trying to ni-pick but what you do is a slight pruning! Using the proper terminology really helps prevent confusion for new growers or people like the OP that are trying to understand the best options.I never cut the fan leaves. They are the solar panels I need for growth. However I do a slight defoliation around the bottom. Any branch or node that looks like it will have tiny popcorn buds. I only do like 8-10" up on a 3-4 ft plant. I feel it helps with air flow, watering and sending more energy to the top flowers. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for the heads up! I can totally understand that. I was just trying to help, but I will try and make sure I use the right terminology next time. Not trying to ni-pick but what you do is a slight pruning! Yeah man for sure I agree I've been trying to experiment with it and cant wait to see the results, I have the same strain with two plants and I topped it and I'm going to let the other one grow naturally so I'll get to see what the difference as for the one i posted i didnt realize until after I pulled off the fan leafs that I shouldnt of done it and cant put them back on lol,I never cut the fan leaves. Haha omg, the pictures I posted first the plant is recovering good since the top and defoiliation I think it stressed it more since I did both the same day but its growing decent now but the leafs arent growing that big in sizeSuper glue
It'll bounce backHaha omg, the pictures I posted first the plant is recovering good since the top and defoiliation I think it stressed it more since I did both the same day but its growing decent now but the leafs arent growing that big in size
Yeah I was worried for a few days but it should be okay but even before I defoiliated the plant the leafs werent that big but it has a rough go it's like 4 months old now and was really small and rootbound for a while in a small pot and took a long time to recover so I have faith it will do greatIt'll bounce back
Just dont fuck with it too much and you'll be alright.Yeah I was worried for a few days but it should be okay but even before I defoiliated the plant the leafs werent that big but it has a rough go it's like 4 months old now and was really small and rootbound for a while in a small pot and took a long time to recover so I have faith it will do great
The number of fingers depends on the energy the plant is receiving from growing the plant I topped has been only growing 5 fingers since I topped it now I see the 7 fingers coming in so I know it's recovering now and growing how it shouldEvery time I top the leaves that grow after stay down at 5 or 7 leaflets, even if the top I took off had more. Anyone know why?
Dunno, my Bakertreet is outside, in the ground, lots of sun with some leaves bigger than my hands, and I wear large gloves. And they only have 5. I mean, yeah it's a pure indica landrace, and they usually have fewer leaflets, but she's been vegging for more than a month since I topped her. You'd think she's recovered. The number of fingers depends on the energy the plant is receiving from growing the plant I topped has been only growing 5 fingers since I topped it now I see the 7 fingers coming in so I know it's recovering now and growing how it should
