Nitrogen Deficiency

so, I’ve learned my lesson the hard way: never again will I use cheap regular soil; no Sir!

Anyhow, no grumbling, my mistake.

I’ve got this young lady with extreme Nitrogen deficiency:

Tried nettle tea a few days ago, but new growth still neon green (I think it glows in the dark ;-)

Any advice for a DIY organic nitrogen plant feed?
Or does it take a while b4 nettle tea kicks in?
Never had this problem before, but I also never bought cheap soil before...

Any advice appreciated

Looks more like an iron deficiency to me, or sulphur. More likely iron in my opinion.

Ph?
Amendments?

If you're outdoors, i'd say a little manure would probably fit the bill well.
If you haven't already, check your soil's ph first to be positive it isn't lockout before you fertilize. Looks as though the seedling is starting to show the same thing too? Imo indicative of a lockout, or watering issue, rather than under fertilized.

Ph of the soil is around 6-6.5
Both started on the second node to go yellow

Unfortunately I haven’t access to manure at the moment.

By the watering issue do u mean over- or underwatering?

Yeah, i meant over more than under.

Seems fine to me, I wouldn't assume lockout myself at 6-6.5, i'd be going with deficiency too. Likely is iron deficient given the soil's ph. Anything bloody, or fishy should provide it. Go for something fairly balanced, and only use lightly to see how the plant takes it, could still be something we're not seeing.

Good idea trying some old soil, and if you used rich amendments to build it, there's likely still ample trace elements too.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is she perking up? the veins got darker and the lower leaves look better too....
