Would anyone be interested in participating in an auto grow thread?

Late arrival, just saw this thread but have already harvested 3 of my four outdoor autoflower plants. got seeds from Dutch Passion, all auto-flower sativas; auto-extreme, auto-desfran, auto-lime daquiri, and auto-euforia. As this was my first try with autos from seed to harvest outside, I just let them go and they averaged about 1 meter tall and the yield from auto extreme was about three oz and desfran and lime daquiri are still hanging to dry. I have some questions and don't want to troll through the last 18 pages of this thread. i realize cloning auto flowers is not ideal. has anyone tried. Also, what about topping, fim-ing and stressing the plants. does anyone have any ideas on what works and what doesn't? as these are growing outdoors i can understand the yield is not fantastic, but any pointers to increase the yield would be welcome. it is nice to know that although only four plants per household is legal in Canada, autos give you 2 harvests per summer.

I grow outdoors or in the greenhouse and can see Vancouver island from where I'm at.

With autos the vegetative clock is ticking once the seed cracks. For optimal size vegging plants under 24 hours of light and warm conditions for the 1st few weeks can make them bigger.

I also like big pots 10 gallon US what is that 40 liter? Selecting larger genetics also helps no low riders or anything miniture.

I don't think stressing and auto flower is a good idea. Also not sure about topping outdoors things are kind of slow compared to indoors.

So I am going to take down my outdoor autos tomorrow. I checked on them and it's time or I'm going to lose them to mold. IMG_20190730_074748.jpg IMG_20190730_074757.jpg IMG_20190730_074802.jpg IMG_20190730_074818.jpg

Well chopped 2 royal creamatic and 1 girl scout cookies down today... Had to trim some moldy spots off the creamatic on the left. I know they don't look like much but with the problems I felt with this summer it is a wonder they did anything. From constant rain, to super hot and humid weather, to attacks by slugs ... I actually had 2 auto northern lights that ended up complete losses. I'd consider this a success. And I will try to pick a few good outdoor autos next summer. IMG_20190731_214157.jpg

Royal Queen Seeds-Diesel is looking good. Started showing pistils... I am very happy with these royal queen autos this year. This diesel was 1 of my freebies i got from seedsman! however don't believe the breeders time frame for start to finish. My creamatics and one GSC got chopped after 10 weeks, but this diesel is also currently at 10 weeks and as you can see she still has a ways to go. She has made it this far on nothing but 5 gallons of FFOF... I will be top dressing with some for farms dry commandments tomorrow to try and make sure she has everything she needs to finish strong. All done. About 1 zip a plant. I could not recommend FastBuds to anyone. Took two packs, with the poor germination rate and not even harvest 4 zips. That folks is a waste of time. 5 popped, 5 never popped.

Even at the promo rate of $5 seed, FastBuds gear is crap. FastBuds seeds are not worth the money. You get some flavor, little yield, short time frame and no consistency across plants.

FastBuds is a waste of money as well as time.
