Hi All!

My plants are 5 weeks into flower, but they havent grown or flowered much....

My temps are 68F lights on, 55F lights off.

I have never grown this cold before, will that cause the plant to almost stop growing?

Either that or perhaps I gave it veg food instead of flower food??:(

I’d assume both may have caused the problem

That is a little cool, not the worst i've heard of. The first question I would normally ask is when did you start counting at the 12/12 flip, or when the plant actually began to form flowers?

FLOWERING BEGINS WHEN THE PLANTS ACTUALLY STARTS TO FORM FLOWERS!!!!!

So your plants that like like they are at week 3 very possibly could be........

Or they could be stunted because you screwed something up lol. Just playing.

I flipped them, 38 days ago.

I will post photos tomorow.

The plant looks super healthy. Nice lush leaves, very green. But the flowers are under developed.

Im just not sure the reason, is it the cold?

I may have fed her veg food for too long..

I will post photos soon

So its been 38 days since the flip, how long has it been since they actually began to form flowers? That's the number you should be tracking if you are gonna count days. Flip time doesn't matter, its totally arbitrary and doesn't tell you much about your plants.

How long did the plant veg before you put it into flower? If the plant isn't genetically mature when you flip it then it will take even longer to begin flowering. Your plants really might be totally 100% fine and normal, and you are just not properly identifying what stage they are at.

Counting days is irrelevant from what I've come to understand. Heard of strains with flower times of 65 days recommended by the breeder, that need to be pushed to 85 before trichs were fully cloudy.

Totally correct. The actual counting is mostly irrelevant. I stopped counting time years ago. However if someone is counting time and doesn't understand the stages of growth well yet it can lead them to confusion about what is actually happening with the plants.

In the end it's about learning to understand what your plants are telling you at different stages.

Those leaves don't look that healthy. The leaves are all brown and crispy on the edges and that white stuff looks like PM. Or did you spray something on them?
Yeah I gotta agree, and if they aren't happy that will defintiely stunt growth.
