48 Days Flowering - Pics

First grow and my little plant is looking very healthy. As you can see, my setup is very small, the res only holds about a gallon of water.

I recently purchased a ph meter and have seen wild fluctuations in my ph. I changed the res a week ago and set it to about 5.3 and tonight it read 2.7!! Is this possible, or is it more likely that my metor isn't accurate? And if it is accurate, why isn't my plant dying?

Please have a look at the pics and let me know your opinion on harvesting this plant in 14 days. I'm moving across the counry on Halloween and must harvest by then. Any advice on shortening flowering time? I heard making the night period longer (13 or 14 hours) can reduce flowering time. Any truth to this?

alright.. you gotta make sure your plants Ph is never over 6.4 and never under 5.9 for these last couple days. Theres nothing wrong with picking premature bud if you have to, it happens a lot down here, and new growers normally pick premature bud, all that is going to do is reduce potency.. and if its REALLY young, you may get a headache, but it looks good to go from that. Im surprised your plant is doing that well with a Ph in the 2's.. thats incredible, should be eating the plant right up.. i think your tester must be mis-reading because gastric acid is a Ph of around 1 of 2..

Ah, you say "reduce potency" as if this were acceptable..LOL But thanks for the advice, I'm really happy with my little plant, I may just pull an 1/8 off of it when dryed and cured.

I can push the harvest until 12 days from now but that's it. I'll be loading up my car and driving from NY to CO. Because I'll be driving during the drying/curing process, I was considering just trimming off the big leaves, and hanging it upside down inside of a small brown paper bag right inside my little growbox.

Any advice on drying/curing considering I'll be chopping my plant and then immediately be in a car for 3 days? Anyone?

you want it dry? put it in a paper bag and then into your glove box.. guarenteed it will be dry within 2 days if your using the heater.. just dont get pulled over :-D.. and what i meant by reducing potentcy, is that it wont reach its potential haha, but youll be all good

Nice little plant..I'd cut the nutes back a bit all your bud leaves are curling..do you have a digital pen if so you need to calibrate it regularly with a ph solution they sell for calibrating I know nothing will grow in anything below 4ph but back off the nutes that plant needs flushed its too green, nitrogen delays/slows bud growth your plant looks good though don't get me wrong looks good just the way it is thats just my 2 cents :) back the nutes off while you let her finish

i check my ph and alter it every other day at least. no way you can keep it level by not checking it enough

7 days until harvest!! This is the coolest freak'in thing I've ever done in my life!! LOL I am now the master grower!!

She is just a hair under 7" and she looks like one solid bud. I've been estimating an 1/8 dry but now I think it may be closer to a 1/4.

Some of the pics you can see the trichs really well, and the pistils are just starting to change color.

I'd love to hear some opinions on harvest readiness (in 7 days), and yeild estimates.

I'm still on full strength nutes but purchased Final Flush and plan on giving her only water starting tomorrow night. The Final Flush directions say to go full strength nutes until 1-2 days before harvest, and then plain water and the solution. Does anyone have any experience with Final Flush? I was going to use it 6 days out to ensure its effectiveness but I don't want to hurt the palnts. Can anyone give me advice on the best way to use Final Flush?

nope..feminized snow white seeds from nirvana. I suspect it's so small because I stressed the shit out of it, root bound, not sure. Either way it worked out in my favor because of my limited grow space
