LEMON GARLIC OG - OUTDOOR

Well, decided not to top it again. Have two main monster (I use that phrase lightly) branches, then maybe six or seven others. Thoughts so far? It’s kinda filling in.

Side question, anyone have any idea how much I could yield from growing in a five gallon bucket? I know I’m a super long way out, but just kinda trying to estimate how much bigger this will get. Seems like it’s filling in a bit more, but as always, all input is appreciated. Thanks homies!

Also, check out who is keeping a watchful eye over my plant hahaha

They looking good so far. As for five gallon bucket yeild. You should get 2-3 oz easy maybe more. I had a few in 5 gallon last year and they finished out nice.20181015_115057.jpg 20181008_121907.jpg 20181015_115138.jpg

Wow those look beautiful haha. Arethose sativa or indica strains though? Very nice and healthy looking. 2-3 ounces would be sweet. More than anything I’m just hoping to get through my first solo season and improve from there each year. Thanks for the help man!

Thanks, ya those were last October. There a 70-30 indica/sativa. And still smokin on some as I type.:bigjoint:. Keep your plants happy healthy and bug free as possible and you should very well reap the rewardsbongsmilie

Nice man. Mine is 60-40 indica so I’m hoping it doesn’t get too huge or stringy. You like it looks too stretched out? Or do you think it’ll fill in and I’m just paranoid and impatient? Haha

Alright. So here are pics from today. Looks green and healthy, no bugs, starting to get seven pronged leaves.....but the stringy-ness scares me! Is it alright? As it starts to flower will it stop growing in height and start to fill in? Anybody have any input? Thanks in advance!

I’d top it again if I were you. Don’t go crazy, just snip the topmost growth off multiple branches. That should help it to fill out. Do it sooner than later.

I grew a couple GG4 clones I rooted mid-June last year, topped multiple times up until the last week of July and got 3-4 oz per plant.

When she starts flowering there'll be some stretch, so stringiness will probably increase a little. But that's pretty much par for the course. She's a little bushier than the Cherry Bomb I'm growing was before I flipped her. She's doing fine now. The pic is from a week or so ago, don't really remember. She only got about 7 or 8 hours of direct sunlight every day, otherwise she got dappled shade from a tree, or was in the shadow of the house. When they get less light, they grow fewer leaves. Plus there's some sativa in Cherry Bomb, and it doesn't matter how much sun sativa strains get, they're lanky as hell.

Yeah mine is a 60/40 indica. So it would stretch more than yours I bet. It’s in pretty limited sunlight as well. Giving it another topping makes sense. I think I might have to do that soon. Maybe in a day or two I’ll lop off the top two to four branches. Keep everyone posted. Thanks for the input!

What’s uuuuup? Long time no check in. Here’s what it looks like now. Seemingly healthy, although the edges of the leaves are curling upwards. What causes this? It was unusually hot today, like 100.....could that be it?
I would expect heat stress to cause a canoe shape, curling the edges up. I've never really seen the tips point up like that. If they don't start to turn yellow or brown I wouldn't worry yet.

I think there was some discoloration starting on the leaves. I’ll get a better look probably on Friday. Work is pretty demanding this week. Another warm day today though too....I’ll make sure that I keep it plenty watered and we’ll see if a break in the heat helps. Thanks for your two cents!

Maybe its just the lighting, but those plants scream too much N to me. The dark shade of green, canoeing leaves, and a little bit of tip burn. Would maybe back off whatever you're feeding her. Less is almost always more with nutes, took me several grows to learn that but it is very true

You think I should just use a little less nutes, or give it a break one go round? Right now I’m doing nutes, two days of normal water, then nutes again. Think I should try just reducing the amount once, or skip a feeding?

Either way, again, thanks for weighing in!

Maybe switch to something like tomato ferts, less N higher P-K, and still providing a full dose of micronutrients.

Went and saw it today before taking off for Labor Day weekend. It’s definitely getting burnt up. Not good. I’ve been giving it one scoop of bloom terra with like 1.5-2 gallons of water every third day. Should I keep giving it that? Or switch to some sort of tomato fert like you suggest? I don’t have time to run to the actual grow store so itlll have to be something generic. Is that okay or should I just give it water for a couple days? Thank youuuuu!

I don't know what's available around you, but this is available in most places here. There should be something like it somewhere near you.promix.JPG
