8 weeks into flower help please

Afternoon all this is my first grow I’m growing granddaddy purple in soil 9 weeks from seed I’m on week 8 no purple I gave girls a first flush today can anyone please give advice if you think girls are ready for harvest or not much appreciated

GDP isn't always Purple. Colder temps and Pheno do. It's in the taste after the cure, an awesome grape Kush Flavor....

That isn't going to be ready in a week. If your going by the description on length of grow don't. More often than not plants take longer than what the breeder states. That is a couple weeks away from being ready. And there is no need to flush. Just stop feeding nutes and water as normal.

I'm not a proponent of flushing where you run large quantities of water through the grow medium. I believe in reducing the feed towards the end. Depending on what your growing in that could be water only for the last couple of weeks because soil will hold nutrients. I grow in coco so I taper the feed down and am feeding 1/4 strength at harvest time. For the plants you have I would just give plain water.

Where do you get your seeds?

Been wanting to get my hands on the purple pack (5 ea. of purp haze, grandaddy purp and purp kush) by ILGM.com

Hi mattman I got seeds from gorilla seed bank , pack of 5 I love this strain thought I would give it a go two out of 5 seeds were male they were sold as 100% feminized And it don’t seem too be turning purple think my temps are too high . But hey ho my first grow just want a decent smoke

Don’t pull em yet. Believe me. Especially on the granddaddy. Always let it run another week or even two till the magic happens and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about when you see the magic happen. The buds will round off so to speak. The hairs. Adios. Let the Trichomes show a bunch of Amber first then pull her. I think most people count weeks but they never include the two weeks it takes the plant to go from veg through stretch and then into flower. So really the third week is the first and that makes a seven week strain a nine week if you don’t count your making a seven week a five weeks an missING ALL THE MAGIC. I’ll put it this way. That’s so nice a job of your first run bro. Please please please don’t yank her now. Shit if your assed out of weed and near Boston I’ll give you some sauce and diamonds to not pull her , for free. So please wait. I promise if you wait shell thank you for it.

Hi beantown I vegged them for 6 weeks when I switched 12/12 I’ve counted weeks from then that’s me at 8 weeks I’ve taken advice on here I’m gonna wait too see the magic lol joking I will go another two weeks and go from there thanks for the info much appreciated I want too see smoke and taste the magic

I would source a different breeder seeds will be decent but my mate grew there GDP and it wasn’t anything special.

Like I said it was decent.
As for favourite seed/strain haven’t found it yet. I’m ordering some pale strangler of riot seeds and the end of the month which is an F1 Durb x dosidos should be some hell fire $450 for 10 regs it better be lol.
I’ve also got some seeds of members from this site I haven’t popped em yet, there should be some dank in there too
