Not at all, everything is important to understanding the bigger picture. If you ignore details you will just slant what you see in favor of what you want it to be. And yeah houses, 401k's, stocks, everything would have lost far more if the system was not stabilized. It would have been as bad of a loss to Americans as the great depression was if it wasn't done.

Just in actual today dollar amounts maybe. 'They' have been doing this for centuries to the people that work to build up a livelihood.

Before the Federal Reserve there used to be full on recessions every couple years that the wealthiest would use to suck up all the work that the people built up. They would even go as far as to make runs on local banks so that the area would lose all their savings when the banks closed up and there was no FDIC to pay the people their money back.

Even then the rich are never concerned about trying to hurt people, it is just at the end of the day most people don't care enough to think about the people they are hurting when they do whatever they can to get what they want. Out of sight, out of mind kind of thing.

Obama may have separated kids, I don't know for sure he did at the border (unless there was clear evidence of wrongdoing is my guess of why). Trump has systematically shut down the border for these poor people fleeing violence and when they tried to get here a different route they were deemed criminals and have their children ripped away from them with no clear longterm plan of what was going to happen when the system hit critical overload.

If the banks started to fall, everyone with any savings would have been wiped out, all the people who would then lose their jobs would have to forfeit their houses anyways to whatever vultures picked up the notes for pennies on the dollar. It would have been so much worse. And Obama did it in a way that earned the American public a profit. The banks paid all the money back with interest. Trump just cut the taxes for corporations and made them permanent.

It is not the same, Democrats are closer to the people that make up the nation than any party in the history of our civilization. And the people that were traditionally in power hate it and are spreading this crap nonstop.

Trump is providing border security. It’s illegal to come into the country the way some of the immigrants are. There is no reason to let that fly. Those people who brought their kids made a bad choice.

They are being put in a position of sitting at the edge of Mexico in horrible conditions because Trump has ignored his oath of office and has told the border patrol to break the law and not allow them to enter the country through legal ways. That is on Trump, nobody else.

But If they had enough money to hop a plane into the USA it would be fine.
