Powdery mildew

One of my tents has a plant in with powdery mildew , its not the most rampant pm ive seen or heard of but non the less its there , ive been spraying it with sb plant invigorator which if ime being honest has encouraged more to grow because of the damp condition as when it was sprayed it had way more pm the morning after.

My question is what does everyone think !
Should i kill it and sanitize the whole room and start again ?

Will it come back ? Or am i safe if i sanitize

Do i keep it , continue to treat ?

When i flower it do i wait , then after wash the buds in a h202 and water mixture , if i decide to keep it ?

Its a phantom og plant , i wanted to keep it as a mother to have constant clones , ime guessing this plant is doomed in all likelyness .

Have webdecided wether pm is systemic or not , i was reading about the haustorium and it sounds invasive to me ?

Oppinions are welcome , ime genuinely gutted about pm , its abiut the worst thing i have come up against

before you kill, try to control it;

Clean/Sanitize your tent, remove all plants.
Use paper-towels and wipe off all effected areas of your plants, you can easily dispose of paper-towels, will reduce the risk of spreading.
Use effective organic fungicides for treating powdery mildew, sulfur, lime-sulfur, neem oil, and potassium bicarbonate. Wait until you have cleaned all plants and your lights are about to go off to spray all leaves, make sure you get all of them.
Increase the air flow in your tent and between your plants, two fans is minimum, you need air pushed out to force fresh air in and you need air pushing through your plants.

If you have buds that are affected with WPM you have to remove them, they will have many spores stored inside.

Ok , its not in flower yet this specific plant ile try get some pics now , ime probably gunna lose the battle against powdery mildew but ile keep trying just because i might aswell as ime already in the situation.

Its hard to see because ive been using that sb plant invigorator, which i think is making the plant look healthy but ime skeptical to its effect on mildew as the mildew is still there but dotted about , the rh sits at about 50 to 55 which for veg is normally alright , ive heard fluctuations can be the culprit with mildew

PM just sucks. I feel for ya. Been there.

Systemic? Kinda.

Before we can see it with our eyes...

"spores penetrate the leaf and the cell wall with a taproot called a haustorium, which serves as its primary feeding mechanism. The pathogen then forms secondary taproots into neighboring cells, creating a mycelium network over a period of several days before producing the tell-tale white powder."

Some use procidic2 with success.
I have no silver bullet solution. I wish.

Yeah, keep battling it, you can control it, just wipe them all down really good and dispose of the paper towels/gloves. Then spray everything just before lights out with a great fungicide, pump up the air circulation (will make it harder for it to fall/stick on leaves), will be under control in no time.

Yeh ime seriously considering investing in a sulfur burner for my veg tents , i think the true winner of the day in the future is gunna be prevention but non the less ime gunna throw the book at the plant as the mildew is already here and present , trying to look into fungicides , everything that is good is bloody poisonous , itsva damn shame because the read up makes them sound highly effective

Make sure the pH of any foliar applications are always slightly alkaline. I like 7.5. An acidic pH is what PM likes.

Having large fluctuations between high and low RH% are bad. A lot of indoor growers get PM when temps drop at lights out and that causes the RH% to spike. Sometimes it can be as simple as having the AC shut off when the lights go out and running a dehumidifier.

Powdery mildew is ectoparasites not endoparasite. Powdery mildew is not systemic however many of the products that will treat it such as Eagle 20 (myclobutanil) are systemic. If you want to save clones from a plant you can use the eagle 20 as it won't remain after the time it takes to grow up. Using Eagle 20 in flower is no bueno.

The triazole looks promising this is the one ive been most interested in , theres multiple products here in England with paclobutyrazol in , ime sure this is one of the fungicides the article was reffering to which is a type of triazole its also plant regulator secondary from what i understand , my only problem with paclobutyrazol will be that its hard to find on its own , its normally in alot of the flowering boosters to keep the plants small , ideally i could do with the chemical without the added phosphorous and pottassium
