In order to even get a slot for SFAS you have to have high asvab scores. In other words you have to be at least kinda smart.

When I was in boot camp I was already well trained with firearms. From a very young age. They handed us an M14 first morning. No ammunition. Even after thorough training when we got to the range there were a few who quickly demonstrated why we weren’t issued ammo before or after range week. Same with grenades. Despite thorough demonstrations prior to drawing a single grenade there were a couple who proved not everyone is fit to handle firearms or explosives. However I would accept military service for owning firearms and believe everyone else should receive some degree of training in handling weapons and everything related to them. It’s obviously sheer lunacy to believe every swinging dick should be allowed a weapon simply because they’re of a certain age. I wish it wasn’t so but it is.

Further it’s getting to be obvious that a very small minority of miscreants dream of utilizing a military style weapon to do what those weapons were designed to do. I love the AR despite the small caliber but I don’t think everyone needs to have one. I’m not sure what the exact right answers are but I’m certain they don’t include every person with money being able to obtain these weapons. The damage that AK did Saturday has taken 2 more lives since then.

Yup 110 gt score so not crazy smart just enough to understand and be trainable it’s 108 st score if ur a stud in it now a days since they are filling up numbers. Lots of guys are hurt and are getting medboarded out definitely took a lot for me to accept it

yes I experienced the same thing my early. Definitely a lot of suicide watches during fire guard and sitting these male and females near the staff duty or cq desk

Then you can understand why I don’t think people should be able to buy a weapon just because they’re of age. You can’t drive or have a car without prerequisites. Requirements for training and proof of insurance for two. I mean it really is a matter of lives and deaths. I’ll bet the goofy fuck in El Paso would have been a clerk typist.

Personally I think only someone with a death wish would try to take a personal weapon into such a situation as El Paso or Gilroy or Dayton. Especially if you are of color. I mean that’s expecting a lot from cops who’ve had an accelerated pulse rate since they got the first radio call.

Also, if some weapons are banned or restricted, only a person with a deathwish will defy it. If police are sent to the house to take someone's illegal guns, most of the talkative idiots will just hand them over. The police won't show up in regular uniforms either, it will look more like swat. If anyone still resists, they'll die and I don't really care about them. These idiots who think they will kill police to keep guns that the government doesn't want them to have, yeah fuck them. Kill them and charge their spouse for the bullet. I'll piss on their grave.
