Cant ignore the history of minorities not being able to get the same degrees, go to the same schools, open businesses, or buy property in the same places as white men. Because of this government placing laws actively decreasing their well being, and the wealth that they were able to pass down to their children. This is why ignoring race ends up being in favor of white supremacy. If nothing else if you ignore how we got to where we are today, even if you are not racist, you are providing cover for the racists.

In '68ish is when legislation was passed. So black people did not get to take as much of an advantage with the suburbanization of America until about 25 years after white people were able to. Redlining still continues, there was just a huge settlement in 2015.

In politics they are still being suppressed today with gerry wandering and voter suppression.

Anyone that this kid had his hate filled conversations are at fault too. Don't kid yourself that they don't just because they didn't pull the trigger, that they did not help radicalize him. Two weeks in a row of race baiting by Trump to push Mueller report out of the news was too much hate from POTUS.

For better and worst he is our president and everything he says does matter. It sucks, but it is the reality, and all his lies and hateful dehumanizing of these people have had serious consequences when paired with the Foreign trolls sowing turmoil anyway that they can.
