Hey, So this yellow electrical wire runs to my 20 amp breaker, I run my lights off of it. It runs for a few feet within 1 inch of a main gas line down in the basement. My gas lines in the basement are also rusty, but I guess these gas lines only get surface rust??
Should I be worried? Electrical and gas question

pretty fucking close just don't let them touch.yes that just surface rust I ran gas line for many yrs.

No need to worry as long as the insulation on the wire is good and the connections on the gas line are solid.
Yeah surface rust, I guess a lot of pipes are like that.
