Unless it's really raining why not just ditch the hoop house and build a new shelter around them when its needed?
$20 in PVC pipes and fittings might make a big difference in the end. Could add 3-4 feet to the base with pipes and 45 degree elbows to your existing pvc. I'm guessing there is a marine layer thing???Unless it's really raining why not just ditch the hoop house and build a new shelter around them when its needed?
12 ft.how tall is you hophouse?
I'm in the Sierra Nevada foothills and so really it's just protection from unpredictable weather.$20 in PVC pipes and fittings might make a big difference in the end. Could add 3-4 feet to the base with pipes and 45 degree elbows to your existing pvc. I'm guessing there is a marine layer thing???
I'm thinking that pipe is half inch, maybe cut a bunch of 3-4 foot pieces of the same size pipe with the same size 45 angle couplers at a couple bucks you'd gain about 5 foot on each side extending it and could vent the sides while retaining the "roof"...I'm in the Sierra Nevada foothills and so really it's just protection from unpredictable weather.
Wow! You have some beautiful plants.I'm in the Sierra Nevada foothills and so really it's just protection from unpredictable weather.
I started my plants fromSounds good. I only really lose light towards late October. And that's usually to fog. I am going to run supplemental lights during fog hours in winter. I heard good things about cobs.
If your in the sierra foothills you don't need lights right now, they will flower fine on their own. But you might consider giving them more room to grow or pull them away from the side walls.I started my plants from
non-feminized seeds (good old-fashioned way). I don't want to risk a hermaphrodite issue by messing with the lights. Considering I'll be using them for 4-5 hours a day, do you foresee any problems? I delt with herms my first year...it was unpleasant.
waste of money...Shouldn't be a problem as long as you're running the lights during the light cycle.
Lol. I've heard that the sun produces 5000 lux even on a cloudy day. On overcast day I heard it drops to 1000 lux.waste of money...
I agree with double, the weakest sun will still overpower the lights but if you like to spend more on electric then the bud is worth, go fucking banana. Might as well buy a Prius lmao.Lol. I've heard that the sun produces 5000 lux even on a cloudy day. On overcast day I heard it drops to 1000 lux.
Thank you, sincerely. I rarely get the opportunity to show anyone my garden. Which is unfortunate because I really love the exchange of information that fellow growers share.Wow! You have some beautiful plants.
