Switching to HPS for flower..

Hey so I'm getting ready to switch my bulb from MH to HPS on Sunday...just curious if there is anything I should be doing prior to the switch. They were started outside and then brought inside a week ago.
Current steup:
14h on @ 750w MH
5 gal buckets
All plants topped
Watered 1L every 4 days with lots of drainage
This photo is few days old and I have knocked off a lot of the yellow leaves..

Your watering is not recommended. There’s no way it will ever get to the lowest roots. A lot of people turn lights off entirely for 24 hours to start flowering.

So how much should I be watering then? I'm not expecting a perfect yield as I know my outdoor conditions were shit but what should I be doing?

Most likely 2 litters every third day.

And whatever bleeds out is fine? I figure if it bleeds out it's got enough water so I dont over water them. Other than water...there isnt anything I should really change until I actually switch the bulbs and then just give it 24 hours of darkness?
