Whats hanna eutech ect ect? Sorry guys im a newb to this shit
Yep.So my last rez ec was 1.8? My ppm was 900
Different brands use different scales to show EC as PPM. Same info but in a different format. Like degrees F or C.Whats hanna eutech ect ect? Sorry guys im a newb to this shit
Ok maybe u guys can help me with this im going to do my beat to exsplain amd maybe someone cam clear it up for me cuz me and my buddy are back and fourth with this...i mixed my rez it came out to 900ppm for second week in veg a bit high correct?? However its not all base nutes only like 480 ppm is base nutes the rest is additives silica tea ect ect so technically im only giving my plants 480ppm?? I will post this pic again..please clear this up for me..i think im right..well see lol
So im good right? Im getting all this shit that im over feeding..mind u these guys been growing for years..i check my ppm after every time i put something in the rez and i write it down so i kno how much ppm im getting from each product..smart right? So im not over feeding? I acually have more room for base right? Plants look great..and im only maybe 60% of the full dose it recomendsPhysically you are giving them 900.
Of that 900.....only 480 are base nutes.
The plants are explosive with growth so im thinking everything is good!!I don't know if I'm good, much less anyone else. Lol
That's why I am collecting comparing the different nute recipes, to give me an idea of where my feed is in comparison to others.
I find it helpful to mingle here with folks who are using the same nutes and grow style/environment. Do what others have done on past successful grows using the same..
That is a good sign and you should always be very observant so you more quickly learn to read your plants. That only comes with practice and I still feel a little dyslectic sometimes after decades of growing pot. lolThe plants are explosive with growth so im thinking everything is good!!
However there are 4 that have not really grown at all!! They look healthy but slowwwww growth im prolly gonna toss em..anyway to fix this? And whats the reason?? The roots looked fine wen i cloned and transplant them...im super ocd so it really pissing me off hahaThat is a good sign and you should always be very observant so you more quickly learn to read your plants. Especially keep am eye on them if you do something different like change nute brands, soil mix etc. I often see posts like, 'The grow tips are going all yellow HELP!!!!!'
Then peeps are saying it's low iron which it could be but if they have good nutes or using soils like Fox Farms then it's highly unlikely unless their pH is way too high or low causing lockouts but then other micronutes would be getting locked out too so their would be many symptoms.
It's almost always that the plant is growing very fast and the new growth takes a while to 'green up' as it is exposed to the light. The whole area of the new growth will be yellowish where with low iron the leaves will be yellow at the base first then it proceeds up the leaf toward the tips.
Too many just start throwing stuff in to try to fix a non-existant problem then they get real problems. TLC kills more plants than neglect and nOObs kill more plants than us neglectful old farts.
Grab a copy of this pic for your reference. Best chart I've ever seen for diagnosing problems. You have to really go thru the clues around each pic when trying to figure out what's going on as many issues look very similar to others but will have subtle differences.

They are far from dry..Refer to post above about coco and watering.
Some of those bags, the coco looks very dry on top.
I grow in coco.
My EC this time has not gone over 1.2.
I’m about 2 weeks away from chop and EC is currently 0.8.
Coco doesn’t require high nutrient strength. Only regular feedings!
Daily works.
If you use high strength nutrients in coco you can quickly accumulate a high salinity environment in your rootzone (accumulated salts) then you’ll be chasing deficiency symptoms caused by a problem of over feeding.
I like to feed the bare minimum in nutrients and look to lower leaves to let you know they need more food.
@xtsho says it’s more about environmental control and adequate lighting and a small amount of nutrients to keep the plants growing vigorously.
