Bad smell almost like baby poo or garbage

Okay guys so this is my first plant I'm on day 54 of flower and my friend gave me one of his plants I vegged it out and it was a female he said he started it from seeds he got he said he was pretty sure they were ak seeds but earlier this week the buds started giving off this bad almost baby poop dead smell checked all the buds no bud rot even checked with jewlers lupe buds are still firm checked trichomes today they're about half cloudy and the white pistils are mostly faded out other than the bottom popcorn buds I'm using fox farm ocean forest soils and the 3 main fox farm organic nutes I still smell a slight skunky smell but its kind of foul please help.. ..?

some bud smells bad, ive smelled bud that smells like dog shit. not my cup of tea.

Sounds genetic. If the resin is what smells then it's just a genetic freak. A good old stem rub and smell should let you know. I have also seen weed that had a manure smell to it and no it wasn't smuggled in shit lol.

Yep.. who normal will go for such a terps... but then again i know few that looked right for these type of smells..

there is so great smells and ones that made me wish to puke... am found once plant that smelled on detergent,
so soapy it reminded me on smell of Ariel for washing wardrobe,that was really owfull.. am gived it to friends
but i dont belive they enjoyed her too..

I had one with this almost overwhelming sickening stink. Like behind a street market in Guatemala with the overripe mangoes and papaya. But it was actually appealing. Kind of like a corpse flower. Dried it was heaven. Beautiful fruit smell almost like Juicy Fruit gum.

What strain was it? Had an old Afghani way back in the day smelled like dirty feet/socks, this sickeningly sweet chicken poo fertilizer smell that was some of the best smoke I ever had in my life. Would love to know what strain it was you had that smelled like that...?
