Clowning with Jacks 321

When I tried Jacks I ran into issues and just went back to GH to save the crop. It's something I would need to play with on a smaller scale and perfect it. Sure would be nice to save all that cashola.
Here's where you need to go, brother. I've been running their nutes for years now. They'll help you out;

They're damn near under your nose, it's well worth the drive;

I wanted to get some Chem-Gro but I'm not located nearby and they screw you on the shipping. MasterBlend has the same elemental ratios and is available for similar prices with free shipping on Amazon.

Tint Eastwood should check out CG/MB and compare it to Jacks while he's at it. It's like half the price.

I think I remember Masterblend being a touch ligher on the included micronutrients when compared to Jacks. Admittedly no clue if one is better than the other.

Being a small garage hobby grow, nute costs are low.

Still veggin.
x7 in 2gal fabrics, only buffered coco, under dual 315w CMH, C02@600. Running them thru a few moist/dry cycles for root dev.
(A few lab rats in solos on 2nd day of getting Jacked @ 321.)

It was just brought to my attention that GH FloraPro exists, three part dry salts. Cheap. I may give that a go.
Hydro-gardens will be much, much cheaper; they're a manufacturer and you won't pay markups for distributors.

I got my last 25# bag for less than $50.

Yeah, they're set up to service greenish operations rather than hobby growers like us. I'm 100 miles away so I just made the drive and got several years worth at a time.

I think once you compare apples to apples, hydro-gardens will still be a bit cheaper, but maybe not enough to be worth driving for.

I like their mixes because all the micros are in the mix, at very good ratios, much better than Jacks for instance.

All you need to add is calcium nitrate and epsom salt and you're done. They even do hot climate mixes.

Well.... Not sure if what I have down is correct.
Had trouble reading the bag contents on chitty web images.

I plugged in the 2-3-1 (grams not ratio) above and the numbers look decent.

I have used hydro-gardens for years also and they are a good company, but I have a feeling the Flora Pro is a more refined product. Kinda like how Maxi Grow/Bloom are milled down to a finer powder than Hydro-Gardens bulk nutes. :peace:
