This is why I don't give a shit if they don't legalize where I'm at.
The shops here all have an unspoken policy of don't ask don't tell. We talk about our grows but we don't say what we're growing even tho they know and there's never any mention of plant count. In fact, when I started growing, if you walk into a shop and say you're growing marijuana they'd tell you leave and never come back. They seem a bit more lax these days but I still never mention cannabis.

the reason they resort to the snake oil pitch is because its such a basic thing literally any fertilizer line will work. i'm sure that blank bottle the guy wanted to sell you would've worked fine.
Also in MA, which shop if you don’t mind me asking? —also growing for same reasons lol. That’s actually a really good price right now. I just moved so I had to setup a new space and I can’t find anything under 2050/LB!!

Yes that's true, how many here could say they would be as good as they are now at growing if not for the internet. It has miss information sure, but even a lot of that is still ''at least'' no worse than going off of local bro science alone. You mostly stand to gain, even AN, the over priced shit that it is.. is a safer bet to a decent end result than pouring in X amount of tomato feed you found in grand pa's shed.
Hydro stores are becoming redundant like many other shops in the wake of online options, people don't have to pay extra any more to maintain a shops over heads and profit margins, along with the very limited and often unoptimal range of goods on offer. The main use for hydro stores now, I assume, is less traceable privacy on certain items like scrubbers.

Finding a good hydro store is like finding a good garage to get your car fixed and doing your research before you show up at either place can save you plenty. Time and money both.
I'm still paranoid about buying anything grow related online so hope my favorite hydro store in Edmonton stays open. Even if I'm just shopping for regular stuff when I go to the city I go get cash from the bank and do all my shopping with the coin of the realm. Why give these guys free data about my shopping habits.
Even tho services like PayPal, Amazon etc don't actively rat you out to popo they don't ask for a warrant if popo wants to see what you've been buying. You cannot help but leave digital tracks that are easy for the cops to sniff out if they decide to start investigating you. Recent breakup with a vindictive partner? Pissed off buyer of your goods? Nosy neighbours? Doesn't take much for the cops to start peaking into your activities to see if they can garner enough info to go get a warrant to toss your house if someone drops a dime on you.
I've been getting my medical for pot for a few years now but never registered with Hellth Canaduh to grow legally. With a 12g/day limit I could be legal for 59 plants indoors but don't want to be on the government hit list should a new administration decide to change the laws. I have no doubt that if the Cons get in this Oct. they may try to repeal the legal 4 plant recreational limit to help out their corporate bum-buddies that are the prime investors in the Legal Provider world created by Herr Harper and supported by our current dictator, Justin (Trudy) Trudeau.
Even if you're 100% legal keeping your yap shut is still the best way to be. Rippers got no rules to follow at all.

I never really go there anymore i go the amazon route..unless im in a bind and need something fast that day...im on the boarder oh NH there is a dope little shop in plastow NH called green harvast prices are outrageous...but they have co2 swap out program only 15 bucks per fill up!! 28 for 50lb tanks....

I would like to think im working in a grey area..i get rid of all my bud one shot the day its baged im payed...i grow enough to make a nice chunck of change every 60 days..if i was to get busted i would prolly get all my shit taken and a "dont do that again"...another good thing is the guy i deal with is familly and his ass has a 50 light op in maine!!! That’s a good deal. It’s $20 to swap c02 near me.. I’m prob gonna check local welding shops see what they charge. I only buy c02 and soil at the store everything else is online
