Possible to use 1 460 CFM fan as 1 exhaust & multiple intakes for 4x4x7 tent?

I am looking at the 6 in version(M6 for a 4x4x7 tent. Those daytime/nightime variable speed controllers look very useful but very expensive (80$ CAd). Know of any cheap good ones?

I'd also love to hear your thoughts on preferring a centrifugal blower fan compared to a mixed axial fan (like the AC infinity cloudline T6 ) for pulling air in a high static pressure environment (carbon filter and no intake fan. Everyone seems to dick ride those mixed axial fans for 4x4 indoor grow tents on YouTube and online.

Looked at mixed flow fans, need a huge carbon filter to get unresticted flow with passive intake. Too much trouble ,parts and manpower to balace limited flow. Just oversize and power down is easier.

A speed control is handy, some cheap ones make the motor groan because it chops up the wave form and it's no longer a sine wave.
These are the cheap good ones, then there are cheaper ones, but they don't save energy. Think of it as ABS braking and what that does to the motor from harmonics. First time in 9 months, I can take a nap on the couch after the variac went in.

The downside to the centrifugal blowers is that they are loud. Over sizing the blower and running it at a reduced speed will give the CFM without the noise.
Not all are loud, mine is 20-23db on full power and almost silent with a variac. To the point where a 4" pc fan is louder.
Though I do believe mine is deliberately running lower power to start with to stay quieter.
I also have another 6" one by a different company I bought a few years ago that is stupidly loud despite been sold as quiet.
It lives in its box where it will stay unless some emergency comes up.

Tjernlund M-6 Centrifugal blower, Im looking at the 8" for a 4x4.
Just got the variacs for an upgrade. They are awesome

Same fan listed for $20 less under AmeriFan name, same mfgr:

Isn't that an axial fan?

You can often pick them up second hand if you check ebay often enough, though they do hold their value.
Ive come across smaller ones on Alibaba before too.
