Why do my yields suck ?

this is a long thread lol before I replaced anything I would ( with that light ) do a single plant photo make a scrog of about 18x18 & fill it before I flipped I'll be first to tell you that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed technical stuff can be mind boggling I'm dealing with an underpowered light now but its what I have so I shrunk the scrog to fit the footprint of the light , I'm out of time for now here is pics of my tents I have a grow journal your most useful tool is this site just see how others with similar setups are doing their grows[I generaly prefer simple single plant grows ATTACH]4385462[/ATTACH]

flowering is calculated from the day of 12 12...not first sign of flowering as this is different for all hybrids. No one i know uses the visual signs as onset of flowering as we all know it is btn 10 days and 2 weeks for this to occur at 12 12. All the best Sb

You know that misinformed info on counting from when you "see" the flowers could really fuck a outdoor grower up.
For instance let's say some dude sold me a cross or strain he had and swore up and down that he has grown it for yrs and it is a 10 week strain and then I put it outdoors and expect mid oct to be harvest! However due to the fact that he counted from the time there were "flowers" and not by when he flipped could actually be a November harvest and then wouldn't finish in Time where I live.....
Needless to say I would be pissed!

can stop pretending that a single grower or breeder writes the books around here. That everyone else’s knowledge is misinformation, and that knee pads are required to fanboy around posters with high post counts.

Didn't see him saying anything disrespectful, but i guess everybody's skin isn't the same thickness.
He actually said he was sorry you felt that way after you called him a wanker and repeated multiple times that he wasn't here to argue. Anyway, i don't know Thunder all that well, even disagreed with him at times, but he has never insulted me or 'disrespected' me. I just don't like it when two knowledgeable, helpful growers start in on each other over such minor shit. Can we get a group hug up in here?

It's not one breeder... he could write all of them and it would be the same response.

Funny how multiple people here, growing for 15-20-30 years each day the opposite. Breeders are trying to SELL you plants bud. That’s there job.

And quit saying EVERYONE, it’s ignorant. EVERYONE I learned from told me take breeders time and ADD 1-2 weeks. And magically that’s the same Time as if you go from flower formation post stretch, with anything less than “top of the line, 1000w setups”. Or you can count from whoever you want, I could care less. When people come back and wonder why their buds didn’t swell and put on oils, Ill tell them to come to you, cool?

We don’t care how stubbornly you think you know something, the proof half a dozen people disagree with you refuted EVERYONE.

Thing everyone else does which is spread what they’ve heard from someone else. We aren’t breeders we are growers. There is a difference. Telling people to chop early is worse then telling them to look for visual clues... what interest does a breeder have to let a flowering plant ripen again?

one? did you miss Kevin Jodrey? You may remember him from such facilities as Wonderland nursery. But as I said way earlier in the convo if Neville (RIP) counts from 12/12 then everyone else should. Where do you think most of these strains come from? And u may of missed were SB said he didn't know of any breeder who counts from flower.

Your free to count how u like but breeders count from 12/12 not from flower formation like Thundercat said.
Not sure why ur quoting me about chopping plants early for,....My only point in this discuss is about 12/12. I thought breeders grew....how do they possibly breed without growing? And please don't try to answer that one as I said im only here about the 12/12 and the "breeders count from flower" MYTH.

Well I would say that Mr. Nice is not just some breeder. When one of the originals says something it carries more weight than one of the hundred pollen chuckers who call themselves breeders and who some in this thread bring up as their evidence. But what would make you think otherwise? Sensi seed as well? How many original breeders would you need to not roll your eyes?

Oh yea, unless your environment is dialed in and every environmental variable is controlled, your flower/ripe times of the same cut will vary throughout the year. Well mine do.
Yes,I count from flower set myself...in my offline grow life. The same cut has a longer flowering/ripening time in the summer than fall/winter,in my garden.
Online,I play the "from flip" game so as not to confuse the people that can't grasp the concept.
