She probably really likes her environment. That’s what I read somewhere. I researched this because my clone has large leaves too.

Good that what I was hoping my first grow went terribly so this one I corrected everything going off what I’ve read and experienced and so far

There’s a lot of great advice given on here by experienced growers. I’m new to growing and really appreciate the help I get from this site. Good luck with your grow:leaf:

since you've opened this thread..
fan leaves are too big..what could possibly go wrong?!
well ... those fan leaves are like semi- transparent(meaning somewhat see through )
and also act as solar collector "power plants"

the bigger they are the better~~ permitted by your grow space // grow constraints...

you may think they block light but if you have the right light source close enough, it will blast through that "power plant" onto the leaves below because it is that type of light.

the real solution is layering canopy correctly depending on light source

ever shine a light through your finger as a child and see how cool the red is behind it?

So if I’m understanding it right those huge fan leaves are really helping it soak up the light
I topped them 6 days ago and now I have 4 tops that are equal height just about my plane is to start tieing them down in the next couple days right after I water/feed them again

They look great when is a good time to clone I’m not 100 percent sure if all mine are females yet is there a way to tell before I switch my lights to 12/12 if not can I clone after they have been switched over
I try to wait until they are 7-8 weeks old unless someone wants the whole plant...
I normally begin to sex them around 6 weeks... with maturity they will show there age... and once switched to 12/12 they will show sex...& yeah you can clone after 12/12... I just flipped a week ago.. decided I wanted clones.. took them.. 24/ hours of light... hopefully I’m not in reveg

Wrong! Totally wrong. Read up on flowering clones and monstercropping.
Well my friend, about that. Respectfully, I am well read in this anecdotal subject you speak of.

Let me point out, if you google "monster cropping", no scholarly based articles come up...just cannabis forums and at the top is a cannabis website that is more of a buzzfeed style intro to growing. And from the article let me point out two very telling quotes;

"In the end this monstercropped plant yielded less than the other clones in the grow room."

"However, from speaking with other growers who have monstercropped their cannabis plants, there seems to be a consensus that it's not a consistent technique..."

Can you clone off a flowering plant? Yes.
Should you? No.

Bullshit. Absolutely bullshit.

It was my understanding that if clones taken off from a plant already in flower could not be used in a perpetual grow because the flowering clones cut from them already have the mature hormones within them, is this wrong?

Isn't this the reason people start cloning to be able to perpetuate the source of medicine that they are growing? Not just to have more flowers, because the problem with that is if you cut clones from a plant already in flower, more time will be spent in limbo waiting for the plant to adjust, and produce a smaller plant overall compared to taking a more ideal vegative growth clone, and when plant count becomes an issue, small plants means smaller harvest, and no perpetual means less overall production, unless your continually germinating seeds instead.

If I'm wrong here I would like to be corrected, I'm just stating what is to my knowledge thus far, thank you.
