It’s an auto. Basic suggestions such as planting in the final container, no topping.
I think it depends on which mighty mite, the original MM isn't an auto. It's a semi-auto, the line I keep can be kept in veg indefinitely. But any shortening of light time will trigger it to flower. And it's the only strain I've ever had that will finish outdoors here where I live (49 degrees north in the kootenay mountains). I have 3 generations of seeds I've made, and supposedly the guy I got them from has been keeping this line for nearly 30yrs. There is very little variation and grow like clones, not the most potent smoke but I really like the high. It creeps up similar to a sativa and is very happy/social, very functional. Outdoors they can grow up to 5' tall and be fairly bushy, indoors they tend to not branch as much and only get 2-3' tall depending on veg time.
I've made a couple crosses, my favorite being MM X Garlix I call it Mighty Dog. But it doesn't seem to flower early enough to finish properly outdoors like the pure MM, indoors it's a great plant. I may try to work this line outdoors, selecting only the phenos that start flowering late July / early Sept. But then I have a lot of different projects going on.
I think there is another mighty mite making rounds that is a full auto and I have no idea if it's even related to the original.
