48 hour darkness just before harvest??

Hi guys, almost finished my first grow. I've grown some super lemon haze. Had a few problems throughout but not had top many people to go to for advice.

Anyway the plants have flowered for 10 week, 26.0 day temp 21 night, ph. 5.5 - 6.2, humid 40 - 50%.

They're in 37litre fibre pots, so theyve been off for 24hoirs now, and on one plant all the leaves are dying inc the sugar leaves, is this normal?

It sounds like their ready to be cut. 10 weeks is long enough.

Its showed 10 week flower time online for super lemon, week 8 still had plenty of white hairs.
I was going to chop them tommz after the 48hr darkness but I'm chopping today now that the leaves have died

How are they dying? Are they turning all crispy and hard? If so that sounds like toxic salts buildup from excess nutes and maybe hard water.

Supposedly harvesting after their normal night period has higher levels of some terpenes but no need to waste 2 days. I harvest in stages and do it when the time suits me.

Yes they gone hard crispy and hard, it's been chopped now , but my other plant is ok, and I've treated both exact same

Those both clones from the same mother or grown from seed? I would expect clones to react the same but even a stable strain from seed can have different reactions to the same feed. There are always some genetic variations from seed to seed.

How big are these plants? 37L is a lot bigger than I use. Most of mine are in 10L with 4/12 in 16L. Should be starting to harvest a few pretty soon. My Hindu Kush is about half cloudy trichs now and I'm eager to start.

Well basiclly , I baught some lemon haze which was more lemony than haze. I got some seed out of the bud. And the bud was still super cronik.

Planted 3 of them, all 3 was in veg together, they got super cropped 3 times, then I left 1 as a mother and put the other 2 into flower. 9 weeks veg.

Both plants in their own tents, 1 plant under 400w hps (temp was going too high with 600), the other under 600w hps. But he plants have 30+ heads and fill up a 120 x 120 tent I'll attach photo below. Jus before flower I transplanted them from 20l to 37l, with perlite and coco in the pot. My friend did it with me as he is watching them, the idiot half snapped a few branches in 2nd week of flower but it repaired itself. It showed signs of nutrient burn so fed it water for one week with no nutes then knocked the mix down, was only using 1ml of each feed.

The plant in the pic below is the one in question it had 600w all the way and does smell slightly diff to the other plant. The other plant got switch to 650w in the last 4 week. The pics are from end if week 9

Those leaves look like normal, end of life dying off to me. I got that going on with a couple now at day 60 of 12/12. Think I'll crop the one that shows the most as the trichs are really milky tho not gone opaque yet and no sign of amber. Supposedly for the highest CBD levels that's prime time and it is a hi-CBD strain. 1 of 4 from seed.

That bud you show looks pretty close. Another week and the trichs should be solid white. I harvest the tops first then let it go for up to 2 weeks more so lower buds get riper and larger.

Well tbh I have about 30% amber trichs I have some pics of trichs below which were about 3 days before harvest.

The plant itself got 1 more week after that , that was due to waiting for smaller buds to ripen , the outer edge of the plant was done at this stage , I didnt know you could harvest the top and leave the rest. I reckon I could've done alot better with this tho but it was my first one.

The plant with the leaves dieing after 24hour of dark doesn't really smell too much whereas the other does,

I feel 36 but that usually just works better with my schedule. But as far as the question goes I totally agree with you.

Well both plants deffo got 24 hour, it's the one in the pic, after 24 all the tiny sugar leaves started dieing
