So i put in the order for the Northern Lights seeds (hope they come in) but have some questions before I grow, how far should the seeds be apart when placing them in the soil after germination.
AND
After i leave the seeds in a moist towel/blanket or sponge do the roots slowly appear after like 24 hours and then i place them in the soil?
When germinating your seeds:
You'll want to put them in a cup of distilled or R/O water until they sink
to the bottom of the cup.
When they sink you'll know that you have a good embryo inside.
If they are still floating after 24-48 hours
then they are more than likely a bad seed.
After they have sunk to the bottom of the cup:
Put your seeds in between 2 moist paper towels,
I fold the paper towels in quarters.
Next you can either put the paper towels into a zip lock bag
or put them in between 2 saucers with seran wrap wrapped
around the saucers.
Then put the bag or saucer somewhere where it's warm, like on top
of a computer or a cable box.
Check your seeds everyday:
Once the seeds have cracked you can plant them into your medium.
I wait until the tap root has grown at least a half inch before planting
them into some type of medium.
Once you've planted them into a medium, keep them in a dark warm area
until you see a sprout.
Once you see a sprout, turn your lights on 18 hours/day, turn your ventilation on, and put a fan on them.
Hope this helps.
