Oh, I think gun laws will be better than what we have, but there are soooo many guns already. If we completely stopped selling guns to the public here, we would still have 400,000,000 guns floating around in the states. No way they had more guns per capita than current US. I will see if I can find that number somewhere, but I expect it to be less than 20 guns per 100 people.It was far worse in England and Ireland. Some said the same things you do.
They were wrong.
Gun laws work. It takes time, but they work.
Now, the city of Chicago has more gun deaths in the average month than the United Kingdom has in the last 25 years.
