Your choice... I ride 5.8/6.3. As long as numbers are moving in a positive direction, listen to the plants. Also my ph will not rise above 6.1 at least since I've changed res, should I let it get to 6.1 then adjust to 5.5?
Look like you are right, that is hydro? make sure that the plants get time to the roots breath from each watering, that only depends on your environment. Just flush them, and give them the regular dose of nutrients, they should be fine. Do you know your water PPM? without nutsI dont know if that helps I put just the veg light on. 1 picture is same plant as above and 2nd is one beside it.

Yes hydro, clay pebbles top feed 15min every 2 hoursLook like you are right, that is hydro? make sure that the plants get time to the roots breath from each watering, that only depends on your environment. Well i would start by flushing them for 24h on plain water, then i would add the regular nutrient solution plus some extra minerals to that water because that water is softwater needs way more atention on CAL & MAG, i personally use ATAMI CAL&MAG 0.3-0.5/ml for each liter35ish very clean water
Awesome thanks for that chart, I work on dumping it and flushing in the next day or so. I will also look at ATAMI CALMAG. I'm using GH calimagic right now. I started of with 2 ml per gallon half of what it recommends. I bumped it up to a total of 4ml this morning to see if I notice any corrections.Growing diagram in CLAY PEBBLES
EC= Depending on the condition of the plants you can use an EC value or another, you can even maintain the EC of the previous week if you observe that the plants are very loaded with nutrients
* PH = the Ph can fluctuate, it can be reduced to 6.0 and allow it to reach a 6.2 or 6.4 value, when we will reduce it again to 6.0 and irrigate with a suitable PH for the plant.
*(2.0) = Depending on strains
Hey nor cal,Yes hydro, clay pebbles top feed 15min every 2 hours
I definitely will switch to a rdwc at some point but it was just convenient. My other idea for my next run is fill the bottom 3 inches with clay pebbles then put 3 gallon fabric pots on top of that with coco or half inch rockwool cubes.Honestly but really honestly i never liked those systems. But if you have it, you need to use it, and thats it, i would recommend you running a RDWC system as a test, maybe you can even make yours for couple bucks...
I personally ran before hydro in many ways, and i loved rdwc and aeroponics. Im running my own DIY aeroponics, and will be making now on 2020 another flora room with RDWC. They are so easy to work with! You would love it.
Ahhh I gotcha. I was talking about dwc with a small pump that constantly circulates in its own bucket, to a top feed.I wish I didn't have to use it but the design of the Dutch bucket system relies on the top feed to bring in fresh water and oxygen from my resivore every 2 hours, so that way there isn't any stagnant water in the bottom of buckets for to long. Its not really designed for marijuana but it was a cheap set up. Here are a few pictures I found online to show how it works.
Amen to that brother!!if you ever try one single pot using dwc, you will love how easy it is, and if you have a big rdwc is so easy to maintain that you don't even expect well, on begin like anything new we need to learn, but after you understand it, it will be rock n roll baby ahahah
