Curing for only 1 week?

Not an alcohol person, man. Also alcohol is completely different from weed and I did not say, I have no taste in weed, I said, I cannot taste the FLAVORS of the weed. I only taste smoke. Not sure how much more clearer I can make it dude.

And I'll re phrase, it's not that curing for only a week is making my weed taste like smoke, as I've said before, I've tried top shelf weed from a dispensary and still couldn't get a good flavor, just tasted like weed smoke, don't really mind that I can't taste the flavors of weed, just something I've always wondered about.

I agree man. I've had people whinge because it's too damp (it was super skunk and resinous as chopping up silicone) I've also had the same people complain it's too dry. I'm always reminded of that old song "Ya can't please everyone. Ya gotta please yourself". If it's too dry drop a hydrating stone wrapped in paper towel in with it until it's right for you. Namaste and stay frosty

Either you are flavor-blind or you have not had a nice variety of good weed. Without smoking your top shelf I can't speak to that but there are many kinds that have lots of undertones to their flavor that is not hard to taste. If you smoked a island sweet skunk and a Hindu Kush you should be able to taste the difference. And if properly cured those flavors become more powerful.

Whar is considered to be a proper cure though??? Some say if you chop too soon its bad,but is there a time when its too late to chop??? Will that affect the cure and taste???

This is something that I have just discovered on my own... My qb100 is just warm enough to dry my weed without burning it or losing any thc... Or the smell or the taste!!! It looks great,nice tight buds...15677291970422294595030365389835.jpg

Sometimes it'll taste earthy/piney but that's it, goes for all weed. And I'm pretty sure out of all the 4 or 5 dispensaries I've been to, surely one of them had to have had top shelf, proper bud. Guess maybes I am flavor-blind, if that is such a thing.

Hang dry 7-10 days on the stems, then 4-7 days off the stems in paper bags and when the buds are perfect to smoke they are perfect in general. Taste great, smell great, smoke great. That simple, jar them up for storage and you are done.
