And after looking every where for the 2.5mm drill bits to tap the 3mm screws ivI' figured out I'm s.o.l lol so I ordered a bunch. Won't be in till Tuesdays.but I'll start the frames this weekend and wiring up all the drivers

I use 1” aluminum angle that is thin, you don’t need heavy gauge. 1” allows room for switches and dimmers to be drilled into the angle

I use double pole double throw switch is so that everything is connected with insulated spades
Also if you leave your bolts long when you’re attaching your frame together those bolts will act like legs so that you can set your finished fixture down without scraping the cob

Well the bolt as feet idea worked great. Lol i didn't realize how bright these things where at 80w each when I first turned a small fixture on in my lap looking at it haha. So far I've built 2 of the smaller 4 cob lights on 320h54a drivers. Just put some of my plants under one last night. So far so good. I'm .def definit gonna have a learning curve though but I'll figure it out. Looks like renfro was right. A 24 cob fixture on 140mm heatsinks ins gonna be heavy as hell.so I got a stud finder and plan on putting up some reinforcements to hold that heavy bastard up when I build it. For anyone who is reading this I highly recommend cobkits.com. dude helped me out tromendouslt and answered every question I had. And I wanna thank y'all for the help everyone previded me on this thread. Ill attache some pics of the light I have some of the plants under turned all the way down.

Looking good bro. And ya I noticed the same thing on one of my smaller fixtures I already have going I turned it all the way up for a couple days and it got pretty worm. Lol but the plants are growing faster then I thought they would so I need to stop procrastinating lol. I have to finish this big one and build one more smaller fixture. Lol I may have started to many seeds and to many strains. But this first batch is ready to be cloned so I can figure out and separate the boys from the girls. I need to start a grow jernel I guess
